Throughout the viewing she was informative, professional and well?prepared, creating a really positive experience. I felt very comfortable asking questions, and she represented the property and the agency beautifully.
26th Jan 2026 (14 weeks ago)All aspects of the sale of my property were dealt with in a friendly and professional manner. An initial valuation gave me confidence that the agents had a good knowledge of the local housing market. After listing the property, there was a flow of conducted viewings that led to a suitable buyer being found. The agents were respectful of my property at all times, providing me with comments from the viewers. I am delighted that their efforts were rewarded with the sale. 31st Dec 2025 (18 weeks ago)D R Kivell, in our experience, perform very well. We have been involved with them on two fairly significant transactions, and have also recommended them to friends. On each occasion, the outcome has been significantly more successful than major, well known, prestigious firms, which seemed surprising? Their response times are far quicker than the major firms, too. I'm fairly cynical about estate agents in general, as they tend to make promises and predictions that they don't then actually achieve - but I can honestly say that D R Kivell, each time, have achieved what they promised, and in good time! David Kivell seems very professional - I'm from a legal and commercial property background, and I rather grilled him about whether his predictions were achievable, and he stuck to his guns, and achieved exactly what he'd said. They seem good at valuations, too. Peter Palmer seems more like a wise, experienced farmer, and therefore very friendly and helpful. And he's a good photographer. Geoff Lupton seems to be the very helpful and efficient guy who keeps everything on track. Based on our own experiences, I've formed a very high opinion of them.Bond Oxborough Phillips - Okehampton

3rd Apr 2026 (4 weeks ago)After unsuccessful efforts with another agent, we switched to Bond Oxborough Phillips and met Elliot Jack. Throughout what has become an 15-month relationship, Elliot has been in regular contact, explaining the situation and offering advice. When it became apparent, after 12 months, that the market was stagnating, he selflessly suggested a Modern Auction company and continued to support us and them in what became the final sale of the property on 2nd April 2026. In addition, Elle Walpole, during the time BOP were mrketing the property was an engaged and responsive support to Elliot. My wife and I heartily recommend Elliot and the BOP office in Okehampton.

They went to a lot of effort in their viewings and were very courteous, friendly and professional. We went through a difficult time as we had to replace our septic tank with a sewage plant and Colwills were so supportive which we very much appreciated. We were so pleased to sell our house. We cannot recommend them enough.

Always friendly, professional and reassuring - and on hand to help us through the whole process. We would definitely recommend to anyone else in the Okehampton area. It’s great to be able to support a local business when moving rather than having to use national firms!
7th Jan 2026 (17 weeks ago)After meeting several estate agents and getting valuations from all them, we were immediately impressed by Knight Franks professional and friendly approach plus their positive response to our property. Although we waited quite a long time to decide to proceed, Knight Frank were understanding, realistic, efficient and professional throughout. They prepared marketing materials, gave clear information about pricing, targeted appropriate clients for our property throughout a very difficult time. Florence Biss was our main contact and we cannot rate her highly enough, great communication, positive throughout and always responsive to our concerns. We ultimately achieved a positive outcome to a very complicated sale of house, land and outbuildings which I am not sure we would have achieved with some of the other companies. I am happy to recommend Knight Frank

16th Apr 2026 (18 days ago)Have recently sold and purchased through stags in Bideford I wanted to share how amazing team have been from start to finish on both the sale and the purchase. From a sale perspective the whole team were great, from discussions on marketing, feedback from viewings and online performance through to the negotiations on offers and support through enquiries through to completion (often going above and beyond to keep communication lines open across the chain and everything on track) From a purchase perspective we had the same great service and acted in our interests as buyers at all times. We were cautious on using the same agent for our sale as the one used by the vendors of our purchase due to potential conflicts of interest etc but that was unfounded. Transparent and pragmatic across the whole process and a breath of fresh air to find an estate agency that breaks from the stereotypes. Although we are hopefully now in our forever home I wouldn’t question using the team again if things change.

He has constantly been chasing solicitors on both sides. He is a wonderful calm negotiator, during stressful times. From the beginning of first viewing , up until exchanging today , he has been the upmost professional & nothing gas been to much trouble for him . Very rare in this buisness , to find someone with such consideration & empathy. Thankyou . Well done jackson-stops for employing such a great chap.

I asked about the new changes too and they sent me a booklet of everything I needed to be aware of! Such a helpful and lovely team. 5* service and prices are the cheapest in the area, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend. Not a straightforward purchase, yet Jackie handled all parties involved in the most professional manner and mediated the inevitable issues that arise in a very sensitive way. I couldn't fault her. You really feel they have your back and they have bent over backwards to sell our house and progress the sale to completion. They have actually made the process enjoyable, a first! They are a really great bunch of human beings, not a comment often connected with this profession. We would highly recommend them and have already done so.

1st Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)When selling my house we had several estate agents come around and Greg was the only one who stood out so it was a easy decision to choose him. I'm most proberly one of the worst clients to have as I will ring , leave voicemails , text and email all at once ... Greg got back to me and answered all my questions and went out of his way to contact other agents on my behalf. He sold my house within the first day of veiwings and gave great advice throughout. I would highly recommend this company :)
