24th Sep 2023 (3 years ago)I dealt with Angela and she went out of her way to assist me regarding a property I was interested in. She was both friendly and professional and offered good communication throughout our dealings. So I can not speak for the rest of Proffitt and Holt as an agency, as I only really dealt with her and she was a very good representive and ambassador of them.
26th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)The team were outstanding. We requested and received prompt, kind and considerate communication; extra points go to Jack and Stephanie who were “ on it”’ from the start! This was key for our reassurance and quick sale of the property. Thank you all very much!????
13th May 2026 (25 weeks ago)This is a terrible agency, and I am extremely disappointed with the service I received today. I arranged a viewing in NW9 and spoke with one of their agents, Alexandra, who confirmed that I should be at the property at 3:00 PM. I even arrived 10 minutes early. However, despite the rainy weather, no agent showed up. Usually, an agent is there to guide you through the viewing, even if the tenant is still living in the property. Alexandra was completely unprofessional and irresponsible. I waited there until 3:30 PM, trying several times to contact her by message. She told me that the tenant would open the door, but nobody answered. After waiting another 10 minutes in the rain, I still received no help. Alexandra later claimed that the tenant had left, which made the whole situation even more confusing. I travelled all the way from SW18, which took me around 1 hour and 20 minutes each way, so this was a complete waste of my time. To make matters worse, when I called the agency, the lady on the phone was rude and blamed me for being late, even though I had arrived early. In reality, the agent herself failed to show up. In London, transport delays can happen, and professional agencies usually wait at least 10 minutes for clients. Instead, I was treated unfairly and spoken to disrespectfully. I would absolutely not recommend this agency to anyone. Their customer service is terrible, their communication is poor, and they are highly unprofessional. Overall, it was a horrible experience.

5th Jun 2026 (21 weeks ago)I have recently dealt with Andrew at Checkmates and I have to say its been a wonderful experience - Very Knowledgeable and a great service received all round. Not pushy and more importantly listened to what me and my family wanted. Thank you for making what can be a stressful time very smooth and stress free

9th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)Unfortunately we weren’t successful in selling the property but the team were punctual, friendly and reliable. We did come close to making a sale and the team were great in terms of updates and how the process was managed. The only improvement for me was that I never saw our flat promoted as a premium placement on Rightmove/Zoopla, and I would have liked to have receive the monthly performance reports (I work with data so this may be a me-preference rather than what most people want. I requested it once but it was never proactively offered)
24th May 2023 (3 years ago)Very poor level of service from day one until departure. Failed to look after our best interests as customers paying rent and basically had to deal with poor customer service throughout. Approach with extreme caution.

Always available, always charming, always diligent in following up the slightest lead. He has already achieved a sale with one and I am sure will soon do so with the second.Very happy to have been introduced to him.

31st Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)Would appear the house was over valued by the estate agent so setting wrong expectations about what price could be achieved. Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.

27th Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)Excellent service from Wilkinson & Fox, they have dealt with the sale of my late brother’s house in Kent while I live up here in Argyll. Nothing was too much trouble and they have saved me a few trips south. Emanda was extremely kind and empathetic to my situation whilst being professional at all times. I would highly recommend Wilkinson & Fox, they made the whole process so easy are are extremely approachable.
27th Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)We chose Signature Estates in Bovingdon and we are so happy we did. They were so helpful from start to finish, in a truly difficult market. Once we had accepted an offer, Craig, Emma and Harry were all so helpful at talking us through all the stages, liaising with solicitors and the estate agents of the house we were buying. Any questions or queries, they were ready with answers. Plus they are all very friendly and easy to get along with. Couldn't have done it without them.
30th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Not only did we sell through Spenser residential but we bought through them too!<br><br>Selling:: Jamie went above and beyond regarding viewings, times that suited both the buyers and us, He really took his time getting the right photos and researching our area, he was informative, honest and was always reachable directly when you needed him as opposed to getting passed from pillar to post with an agent!<br>He kept us informed the whole way through our sale (and it was a long one) he remained positive, patient and invested , he even kept on top of the legal side to help us get our sale over the line!<br><br>Buying:: After our onward property falling through very close to exchange via another agent we had a chain of buyers and no house to go to…..we were at the point of giving up when Jamie and Brooke went out and leaflet dropped at a number of houses we liked in area in the hope they could repair the chain for us all , and that they did!! ??????<br>We found our dream home from a very lovely family Brooke put us in touch with , and the last bit ran ever so smoothly, thanks to the updates and communication from Spensers!<br><br>I can’t thank them enough,<br>And I can’t recommend them highly enough either!<br><br>They really do care! From first contact we found them to be honest and realistic on valuation, and within a short time offers were made and finally a sale.<br>During this process we found Morgan & Rosie Withers to be extremely helpful and professional.
