27th Feb 2026 (10 weeks ago)Very disappointed. My allocated parking space is always taken by another car, and I cannot park my own car. Management cannot provide documents to prove it is my space. I am now thinking to call the police, which is unacceptable for a resident. Second problem: the remote fob does not work. This issue is not fixed for months. First time selling a property, can confirm a very stressful experience but was always reassured and advised at each step of the process. Selling my mother's home was always going to be an emotional process, and Jacob at Orchid Estate Agents handled every aspect of it with genuine care and professionalism. Throughout the entire process, his communication was exemplary. We were kept informed at every stage, never left wondering what was happening, and always felt like a priority. He achieved a fantastic price, moved things along at impressive speed, and did it all with a calm, reassuring manner. If you're looking for an agent who combines real expertise with genuine human warmth, Jacob is exactly that. We wouldn't hesitate to use Orchid again.

Henne in particular deserves a mention - she really helped when our chain was dragging by communicating up and down the line and keeping us informed every step. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Ben was supportive and informative throughout the offering process, and once our offer was accepted, Hannah in the sales progression team was so proactive with solicitors on both sides to make sure everything moved along as quickly and smoothly as possible. Their help and expertise meant the sale went through as early as it could have done and their communication throughout was fantastic. During the sales process, Josh was so helpful and accommodating in showing us around the property as we made plans for renovations, and we felt like the whole team couldn't do enough to help. Highly recommend working with this fantastic team whether you're buying or selling.

They kept us informed throughout the process even when the sale to the first propective buyers fell through. They found new buyers quickly and smoothly. We would like to mention two of their staff particularly, although all were polite and helpful: Mathew Marchent - saw us through the sale process. Danielle Gennard - helped us through the sales progression. She was always communicative and there with help and advice. Thank you to all the team.
27th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)6 stars out of 5 if that's even possible. I recently had the pleasure to work with Jack, Taylor and Ellis as part of my house-move. As part of this process (both selling and buying), we came across a number of different agencies, and the Akeman team is easily the most professional, responsive, honest, accommodating and helpful team. From viewings, to deal negotiations, to progressing the sale, they are supportive and transparent at every step. They follow-through with their promises. Bottom line, I never felt the need to "chase" them on anything, and that speaks volumes. They are simply a breath of fresh air after some mixed experience I've had with other estate agents. I would highly recommend anyone looking to sell/ let their home in the area to give them a call!

I needed one small thing repaired in the whole letting period. Was still waiting weeks later. Eventually got it fixed myself in two days for less than half the quote House Shaw finally got for me. Will use another agent next time.
