25th Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)On behalf of the estate of the late Neville Garner, would again like to sincerely thank the team at Sowerbys for their profession approach in completing the sale of the final property in the estate ie Tall Trees, Saham Toney. Starting with Louie on getting the initial sale closed thro to Terie Hurrell in handling the sale through to completion which certainly hasn't been easy given multiple purchases & properties involved in the chain however Terie's tenacity has again shone through ensuring completion onetime. Again thanks to everyone

Simon was fantastic during valuation and photos however I only had 3 viewings in 3 months and didn’t receive a lot of communication unless I chased. I appreciate there was nothing much to update me on but the communication wasn’t great overall as would have been nice just to have some check ins
18th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)This is easily the worst estate agent experiences I've ever had.<br><br>This is purely from the experience of trying to buy a property through them, and if this is how they treat potential buyers, I would hate to think what their sellers would make of it.<br><br>Properties are taken off the market and then put back on again, with little or no explanation. You email asking for clarification and get no reply. I even went as far as making a formal complaint to head office, only to be completely ignored.<br><br>To make matters worse, I've seen an auction property listed as “under offer” three days before the auction was even due to start. How does that happen? I appreciate that pre-auction offers can be made, but surely potential buyers deserve clear and accurate information about a property's status.<br><br>The lack of communication, the failure to respond to enquiries, and the complete lack of acknowledgement of a formal complaint have been extremely disappointing.<br><br>If I were selling a property, I'd seriously question whether this is the level of service I'd want from the estate agent representing me. Potential buyers should be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism, and in my experience, that has been sorely lacking here.<br><br>Based on my personal experience, I would struggle to recommend them.

Ben Rivett was an invaluable source of advice, both at the planning and valuation stages. The quality of his recommendations helped us readily achieve a very good sale. Natalie Howlett- Clarke handled the negotiation and completion stages with great professionalism. Her communication and responsiveness were first rate. Moreover, I really enjoyed working with Ben and Natalie for their friendliness, honesty and good humour, as well as for their high level of professional capability.
8th Mar 2021 (5 years ago)The support of the estate agent was the most important part of this sale transaction for me, because I was selling the property as Executor for my father's estate, and I live overseas. Therefore I needed a trustworthy, professional, diligent estate agent, with reliable swift communications and effective marketing skills. Haart in Dereham fulfilled all of these requirements admirably, and I was delighted with a smooth and successful transactional outcome. In particular, I must mention Elton the Manager for his enthusiastic attention to the initial listing and creative photography skills which showed the property in excellent graphic detail. And also Roxy the sales administrator, who was always on hand to coordinate between myself, the buyers and the conveyancers. Her friendly, polite and efficient support was priceless! He found us a private buyer and achieved a quick sale, with the exchange and completion process proving equally straightforward. The whole experience was as stress-free as selling a home could possibly be.<br><br>Many estate agents promise a lot, as we discovered when we met with three other well-known agencies. Ian, however, genuinely delivers on his promises. Nothing was too much trouble and they have saved me a few trips south. Emanda was extremely kind and empathetic to my situation whilst being professional at all times. I would highly recommend Wilkinson & Fox, they made the whole process so easy are are extremely approachable.

Also used heritage solicitors, Broadstone Legal Services, who were also brilliant. The sale went through extremely quickly which was perfect.<br>Thank you again and I still highly recommend!

She was always on the ball, really friendly and so helpful throughout the whole process.<br>The house buying process was completely new to me and there were times when I had absolutely no idea what was going on, but Kinga was always happy to explain things and somehow managed to make me feel like I wasn’t completely clueless! She kept me in the loop, chased things when needed and was just brilliant at making what could have been a very stressful process feel a lot easier! Thank you so much for all your help Kinga!
