6th Feb 2021 (5 years ago)The Covid pandemic has not made it easy to sell our beautiful 17th century cottage with having to make many challenging decisions along the way! However, with Harry Sheppard's expert help, this challenge was made much easier: always supportive at the other end of the phone, he encouraged us through a couple of fallen-through sales! Our 62 viewings were expertly managed by three of Knight Frank representatives, Patti, Philippa & Sara, with wonderful communications left at all times. At the end of 15 months, the team felt like part of our family! We highly recommend Knight Frank Oxford for their competitiveness, professionalism, friendliness and patience. Many, many thanks to you all!
6th Aug 2025 (9 mo. ago)I have just completed on my new property bought through Barton Fleming in Bicester. From the start I was shown the property by Terry, and from there on in dealt mainly with Colin. I couldn't fault them. Any queries I had of which there were a few were sorted and dealt with. I feel I built up a good relationship with them and they went above and beyond to sort out any issues I had. I feel it was nice to work with a local independent company and to support local trade. 5 stars from me all round. Thank you Colin,Terry and your team. Many thanks
26th Sep 2025 (7 mo. ago)You definitely get what you pay for, and the help and support I received from Matt, Nicola and the team in Thame was excellent. I chose them because of the help I had received in the previous year or so, answering emails, providing a valuation (for free) - and they did not let me down. They were the only shining light in a difficult and horrible process. Selling a house is a really stressful process; doing it because the owner has dementia and cannot live alone is infinitely more stressful and difficult. The Fisher German team did whatever they could to make it bearable. Thank you Matt, Nicola and the rest of the team

26th Apr 2022 (4 years ago)Had the most horrific experience with this agent. Totally unprofessional. Promised us the house twice. On the last viewing told us we had secured it in the Saturday only to be told on the Tuesday that there was a higher bid. We have been brought in as a bidding baite in this property. Avoid this agent! No office to even call in

I felt that when meeting with the various agents recommended by get agent, he arrived prepared with information about my house and a strategy. A good and patient communicator throughout what can be a tricky project. Everyone i spoke with at the agency was like this. - 16th Feb 2026 (11 weeks ago)We found the branch very organised and helpful. The company has a good communication system that keeps you up-to-date with developments. Once we found a buyer, they seemed eager to get the deal settle regardless of the low offer. This left us wondering why pay a higher commission when any other estate agency would have sold the property too for a much lower asking price. Anyway, we sold the property and it was all trouble free.

From the initial valuation, speedy marketing, prompt arrangement of viewings and remarkably quick offer of the asking price, the whole process was swift, professional and efficient. 3rd Mar 2020 (6 years ago)I was really pleased with the level of service I received from Chris. We initially had our property on with another agency in Banbury, and we didn't feel as though it was being pushed properly. We would get a different agent at every viewing, so they were never really able to get to know the quirks and selling points our property and the activity level was pretty low. After a few months we switched to F&C. Although it was more expensive, we chose Chris firstly because of his level of understanding of our type of home and the local area. Also, we were impressed with how proactive he was, even before we signed up. Not long into partnering, we were getting viewings left, right and centre. Chris managed to sell our house quickly and we were out of there within three weeks of accepting an offer! Very happy and would recommend!
16th Sep 2025 (7 mo. ago)The first meeting I had was with Catherine to introduce Savills of Banbury to me and to value the property, then everything was pasted over to Francesca Moss. Francesca was so efficient and helpful and very uplifting. We laughed a great deal which made the whole experience of selling and buying no where near as stressful as it can be. I have moved and developed several houses, dealt with estate agents and never have I had this level of efficiency and fun as Francesca made this sale.

He was incredibly efficient, helpful, and always quick to respond to any questions I had. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, and he made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Compared to another agency in Chippy I dealt with, the service I received here—particularly from Alfie—was far superior. I truly appreciated his professionalism, reliability, and the genuine care he showed. Highly recommended!

A big thank you to the team at Hunter, especially Jenny, who was incredibly thoughtful and professional throughout. From the very beginning right through to completion, she was always patient, responsive, and happy to answer all my questions, which made me feel very reassured. The whole team worked efficiently and communicated clearly at every stage, and I could really feel their care and dedication. I would highly recommend Hunter to anyone looking for a reliable estate agent in Bicester ??????
13th Jun 2023 (2 years ago)Hathaways took over management of our Oxford property in April this year, and so far have been a breath of fresh air - it's great to be working again with a family concern, and to feel that they care about us and our tenants. The only issue we had was that some documents were rather unclear, but they responded promptly to my feedback and updated the docs to fix this. Service has been friendly and efficient.
