When they did pick up, they told me they’ll call me back after 15 minutes without even taking my number. It’s been an hour now, no one called. If that’s how it is from the beginning, then I will not be giving them my money.

She was always available at whatever time (frequent 10pm email conversations!) and even when she was abroad for a few days when we completed. We had a very complicated purchase during which Sara communicated with solicitors, other estate agents, vendors living abroad, and our purchasers to make everything happen with a great deal of tact and common sense. Our purchase and sale would not have happened without her.
24th Sep 2026 (3 days ago)The agent proved to be very knowledgeable about the area,from a selling perspective, and provided regular status updates throughout the process. He was the sole point of contact and always available acting very promptly at every stage. A real pleasure to deal with!
27th Oct 2021 (4 years ago)Shut two afternoons in a row with no notice, no info on website, just a handwritten sign in the door. Can't collect Amazon parcels, make PayPoint payments etc as a result. At least keep customers informed online and also inform Amazon so customers don't keep on trying to get items delivered there when the delivery driver can't gain access.- 15th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)We cannot thank Hunters enough for the prompt sale of our property and helping us to find our dream home ! Always checking in to make sure we are happy with everything, his communication is absolutely amazing. He has made the whole process stress free and seamless for us ! 23rd Sep 2024 (2 years ago)If I could give 0 stars, I would. I opted to withdraw my offer on a property despite being so over the moon it was accepted and loving the house. So sorry to the seller, but it was not worth risking my mental health in dealing with an abrupt, pompous individual. Didn’t even acknowledge my email, though unsurprising given the communication thus far! Shame Rightmove doesn’t allow you to filter out agents!
17th Oct 2025 (11 mo. ago)Going to see multiple properties is always a nightmare but meeting Jenni at Northwood I was able to have an experience that made the process so smooth I’ve never had from other agents or estate agents so having Jenni doing the process in the way I understood was just perfect.

29th Aug 2024 (2 years ago)I cannot speak highly enough of Kate Fox-Beckett. She really is a lovely person and very kind while also being 100% professional and totally proactive which is vital to see everything through to completion. Throughout the entire process Kate was the only agent who regularly kept in touch with the whole chain, holding all the different threads together when everything seemed to be at a standstill. Then my friend had the good fortune to find a house that was about to be marketed by Kate. My friend had the bright idea to contact Kate to let her know the sort of house they were looking for, and by an incredible stroke of luck she had exactly the right house just about to come on to the market. From then on everything went smoothly for my friend, with Kate actively keeping in touch and lifting spirits during what could have been an incredibly stressful time. Thank you Kate, of all the estate agents I've ever met, you really are the best.

3rd Jun 2025 (1 year ago)I would not recommend Purplebricks services. I paid for a hosted viewings package as I was unable to conduct viewings myself. The first viewing was booked and confirmed by the hosted viewings team however the team failed to turn up to show the potential buyer the property, as a result they could not view the property. After I made a complaint I received an Armenia response form the hosted viewings team denying it was their fault. It also seems that out of spite the hosted viewings package was deactivated on my account, without my permission or request and unbeknown to me. A second viewing was booked which again, the hosted viewings team did not turn up to. Purplebricks effectively seemed to be trying their best to block the sale of my property by not allowing people to access my property. They could not provide a sufficient answer as to why they failed to turn up twice and I lost all confidence that they could sell my flat and as a result I took it off the market. The complaints process took several weeks to deal with my complaint and an initial offer of a £225 refund was an insult given that I paid £1499 for the package (hosted viewings listed as £899). A second and final offer saw a refund of £625, which is still no where near enough to pay me back for their failure to comply with the contract and the inconvenience I experienced given they significantly delayed the sale of my property.
6th Sep 2026 (21 days ago)I bought a house a few months ago through Bridges, and my experience has been extremely disappointing.<br><br>My main issue was with Mrs Rosser, who was the person I was dealing with throughout the process.<br><br>I originally made an offer on the property, and Jo personally told me that my offer had been accepted. A few days later, while I was on holiday, I received an email saying that the property was actually going ahead at the original asking price. As you can imagine, I was extremely stressed, upset and completely gobsmacked.<br><br>When I questioned what had happened and explained that something clearly wasn't right, Jo told me that my offer had been put forward to the seller and that the seller had rejected it. I was then told that I had subsequently counter-offered the original asking price.<br><br>I was absolutely gobsmacked.<br><br>I had been told by Jo that my offer had been accepted, and I had never made a counter-offer. I was also never told that my offer had been rejected. To then be told afterwards that this was supposedly what had happened was incredibly upsetting. Especially when it did not!!!<br><br>What made things even worse was the way I felt I was spoken to and made to feel responsible for the situation. Jo brought up several viewings that had supposedly been cancelled and other issues, which I felt were completely irrelevant to the fact that I had been told my offer was accepted, yet I was later given a completely different account of what had happened - if it even did?!<br><br>I felt that I was being made to feel like I was the problem, rather than receiving a clear explanation and accountability for what had happened from their end.<br><br>I have since spoken to a number of people and other estate agents and have heard similar complaints about Jo's manner and the way she has spoken to people. I can only speak from my own experience, but unfortunately my experience was enough to make me completely lose trust in Bridges.<br><br>Ultimately, I ended up losing £10,000 as a result of this situation.<br><br>I have told many of my family and friends about what happened, and I personally will never buy or sell a property through Bridges again.<br><br>And if you are a seller considering using Bridges, I would seriously ask yourself: what if this happened to you, or to one of your family members or friends? Would you be happy knowing that the same thing could potentially happen to them?<br><br>Buying or selling a home is a huge financial decision, and you should be able to trust the estate agent representing you to communicate offers properly and treat you with professionalism, honesty and respect.<br><br>Unfortunately, I did not feel that was the case here, and I would not recommend Bridges based on my experience.
27th Aug 2026 (4 weeks ago)Excellent service from Wilkinson & Fox, they have dealt with the sale of my late brother’s house in Kent while I live up here in Argyll. Nothing was too much trouble and they have saved me a few trips south. Emanda was extremely kind and empathetic to my situation whilst being professional at all times. I would highly recommend Wilkinson & Fox, they made the whole process so easy are are extremely approachable.
