From day one, they have shown great attention to detail and genuine care, always making sure I feel supported and well looked after. The team is very serious and professional in everything they do, and I truly appreciate how reliable and responsive they are. Any issue or question I’ve had has always been handled efficiently and with care. A special mention goes to Dena Gold the property manager, who is absolutely the best. She is dedicated, professional, and always follows through on what she promises. It’s rare to find someone so reliable and committed to doing a great job. Dena is a real asset to Hamptons. I highly recommend Hamptons to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional property management company.

However when it was time for me to move out, they withheld some of my deposit money because the property wasn't clean enough. I didn't complain when upon my move in the floor was as dirty as the grount outside, but now I got charged money because I didn't clean? They even provided pictures about how it wasn't "clean". There was no dirt on the pictures.
13th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)Ignoring all issues, at once we had blocked drains, washing machine, drier, smoke alarm, freezer, lights tumble drier problems. None of the above were working, took them 8 months to sort some out and some still left behind. Rent is up by 6.5% every year and no service provided. Highly recommend not to use their services

Ben Baker was excellent from first meeting through to eventual Completion - polite, reliable and efficient, as also were Ceri and his support team. Moving after 34 years was always going to be challenging, but Hamptons made the whole process much easier for us. We are glad we chose them.

Harry strived to achieve the best purchase price possible for us. Special mention to Matthew as well who photographed our house and helped us with the process. All at Parkers, Reading have provided an amazing service to make our sale as painless as possible.

8th Apr 2026 (29 days ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Adams Estates. The checkout process felt unfair and heavily biased against the tenant. Many items listed in the report were inaccurate or related to normal wear and tear after two years of living in the property. Some conditions mentioned, such as mould, marks, and general ageing, were already present when I moved in, yet they were still included as issues at checkout. There were also claims about missing items that were actually present, which makes it hard to trust the accuracy of the inspection. The property was not newly renovated when I moved in, but the expectations at checkout felt unrealistic. I am willing to pay reasonable charges where genuinely justified, but the overall handling of this situation has seriously affected my trust in this agency.

His agency stands out from the rest due to his highly personal service; we spoke with or saw only him so felt super confident he was fully engaged and invested in our sale at all times. His comms were also excellent, as were his problem-solving skills and professional partners. The photography was outstanding, with much thought taken in both the planning and execution. Highly recommended!
7th Apr 2026 (30 days ago)We have just had what I can only describe as a traumatic experience with this estate agent, they are absolutely appalling. Daniel Lowry did the valuation which was ok. His wife Julie staged the house which was fine. Niche did the photography & they were great. Richard did all the viewings & he was great. Then we accepted an offer & Jeremy was assigned ’Sales Progressor’ which I assume is an ironic title because I have never encountered anyone so ill-equipped to progress anything in my life. His only discernible talent appears to be sending utterly pointless WhatsApps. We accepted an offer in July of 2025 & despite J telling us in September & October that we were about to exchange contracts, several times (but no other detail) our solicitor then informed us on November 4th that there had been ‘no written communication from our buyers buyer since July’. When we called J to discuss this he went from being defensive to aggressive - blaming absolutely anyone & everyone but taking no responsibility what-so-ever himself. He suggested it was the fault of our buyers, their solicitors, our buyers buyer, their estate agents…absolutely anyone but him! He told us that ‘you are not the only one to be lied to here, I’ve been lied to as well!!’ A breathtaking lack of self awareness & he ended the conversation not with an apology as we had expected, no - he told us our buyers estate agents had been ‘b - ———-ing him!’ I have had the misfortune of dealing with a number of unprofessional & untrustworthy individuals in my time but Jeremy & Daniel top them all! Daniel became involved in proceedings when it was clear that Jeremy had not been progressing our sale AT ALL. Unfortunately rather than apologise & try to smooth things over, Daniel took the same (baffling) stance that Jeremy had! It was all someone else’s fault, it was nothing to do with Property Assistant & he made no attempt to apologise. I really think they need to ask for a refund from the training company they use because this ‘take no responsibility or accountability what-so-ever’ position is not compatible with decent business practice. When we issued PA with a deadline for exchanging contracts, Daniel’s response was to completely ignore us & cease communication until the date that we had given when he sent us a WhatsApp telling us we needed to get rid of our buyers & they would find us a new one?! We finally parted company with them In the New Year & went on the market with Winkworth (who were excellent) & whom I would recommend. There is a truly hilarious element to this sorry tale - Property Assistant actually has the audacity to charge above the market rate in selling fees!!!! To call Property Assistant’s business practices unprofessional churlish & immature would I fear be unfair to unprofessional churlish & immature people. *PLEASE DON’T LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES - avoid this circus like the plague**

After a disastrous start with another estate agent which almost lost me the house I really wanted to buy, I instructed Century 21 and Jason pulled everything together. Jason got my property sold very quickly in an urgent situation working late into the night to get my property listed and negotiated my purchase so that everything was held together, despite various difficulties along the way, and I got my dream home. He is extremely proactive and responds quickly to messages seven days a week and outside normal working hours. I cannot thank him enough for his hard work, and dedication in getting my sale and purchase over the line. He is truly passionate about his work and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

27th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)Mark Heneghan at Bespoke Estate Agents provided an excellent service throughout the sale of our property in Lower Earley. From the outset, he was approachable, knowledgeable and generous with his time, offering clear advice without pressure. His guidance on timing the market, particularly around seasonal trends and external factors, felt balanced and genuinely in our best interests. Communication was consistent. Mark regularly checked in, kept us updated and followed up diligently after viewings with feedback. We were impressed with the quality of the marketing which helped generate strong early interest. During negotiations, Mark showed persistence. He helped secure a strong outcome, giving us confidence at each step. Importantly, he remained engaged well beyond the initial sale agreed stage, supporting the process through survey, solicitor queries and the inevitable delays that come with a property sale. What stood out most was his willingness to go above and beyond, whether assisting with practical matters at the property while we were overseas or simply being available when needed. Overall, a highly professional, trustworthy and personable service. We would not hesitate to recommend Mark at Bespoke.
30th Dec 2025 (18 weeks ago)As a landlord or tenant, I would highly recommend Property Foundations Group (PFG for short). I have dealt with Kristen, Adam and Paul, all good people with their morals in the right places, something that is rare in the world of property investment. I found PFG to be very professional and thorough in the way they do things, keeping the interests of tenants and landlords great at all times, and they are always on top of the safety compliance requirements that do often change. They seem to know how to keep their cool and coherence, which is a big plus in such a chaotic industry as property letting. My rental was a flat, but I also observed that their Room Lets have good systems in place for communal areas being cleaned by cleaning contractors, something I noticed when I was meeting a friend at one of their other properties. More importantly this means that tenants who rent rooms from PFG don’t have to argue who is going to wash up, clean, vacuum, and so on, and landlords that want to let out their properties as rooms don’t have to get involved in as much headache like this. They also have a good maintenance booking system for anything that goes wrong. Fortunately in my case I didn’t have to use it, but I did a test run (which I later cancelled) just to see how well it worked. I always worry that something could go wrong and the landlord is on holiday (or something like that), but when renting through PFG, there really is no need to be concerned about this, as they have access to contractors around the clock. Safety is utmost priority. PFG were really on top of my safety: During my mid-tenancy, the Annual Gas Safety Check was due. I wasn’t really keeping a very good track of my diary at the time, so when it came to this VITAL day, I was unintentionally unavailable. Paul went above and beyond his call and duty to make sure the inspection was carried out on time, by going out of his way to reach me successfully (without any intrusion). Now this might, to some readers, seem a bit trivial, but actually it really isn’t, because Gas Safety Checks are often carried out EXACTLY 1 year after a boiler installations/upgrades/repairs, and there are parts in boilers that only last 366-400 days so that they stop working just after the warrantee period expires. In otherwords, had it not been for the systems PFG put in place, the inspection could have lapsed over that 366 day boundary, putting me in a potential spot of danger. It’s important for readers to diarise their safety inspection dates to avoid the same sort of thing happening. The half-yearly inspection was also all-fine, safety wise, as well. Jenny asked me whether I was happy for her to take photos of the smoke alarms (that are in every room) to show to their Maintenance Team just to make sure there weren’t any issues, and it was all fine. All in all, very good.
