Alex was easy to arrange the appointment with, and she was friendly, compassionate and professional throughout. She made the whole process feel straightforward and comfortable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her or the agency.
15th Oct 2026 (17 days ago)This wasn’t just buying and selling a house; it was a full-blown James Bond mission involving sleepless nights, spreadsheets, plot twists and a mortgage lender who seemed determined to be the villain!<br>We spotted our dream home on Rightmove, but our own house wasn’t even on the market. Enter Holly and Neil at Tor Estates, who took on the challenge with incredible patience, professionalism and determination. From advice on preparing our home to changing photos and reassuring me through countless visits to the office, nothing was ever too much trouble.<br>Within weeks, we had a buyer for our home, and our offer on our dream house was accepted. Then our mortgage lender of 27 years pulled the rug from underneath us.<br>Enter Gavin from Tor Finance, our mortgage superhero! He worked tirelessly to find a solution, keeping in touch while I was working away and navigating obstacle after obstacle. His dedication was outstanding, and we genuinely couldn't have done it without him.<br>Holly, Neil and Gavin went above and beyond. They didn't just do their jobs; they supported us through one of the most stressful experiences of our lives and helped turn a potential disaster into a happy ending.<br>If you're buying or selling, I cannot recommend Tor Estates highly enough. Hailey was brilliant, she was so lovely showing us around and answering all our questions. She was very knowledgeable about the houses she showed to us and we truly appreciated her support. 14th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)We chose Fox and Sons as our house failed to sell the previous year and they have been brilliant! They marketed our home well. They are highly professional and all round nice guys and gals! I have no previous experience with selling a home and I always felt that I could ask any question. I have had alot of contact with Peter Bush and he has been brilliant! We asked to be put in touch with their in house Financial Advisor, Gareth Jones who has also helped us so much with the financial sides of things. There is nothing that I could fault with the service that we received and I am glad we went with Fox and Sons. Selling a home is not easy with the way the market is at the moment and I truly believe that had we chosen someone else we would be looking at a second failure to sell our house. Thank you Fox and Sons for all your help.

I guess desperate for properties to sale as business is slow.- 3rd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)Anthony and Christina were very friendly, professional and knowledgable. Christina in particular went the extra mile on more than one occasion to ensure everything, from sale to completion, stayed on track. She was amazing.

18th Dec 2023 (2 years ago)Unfortunately English Homes only considered a price reduction as the way to stimulate market interest. We had 3 viewings in 12 weeks. Feedback from the viewings was that they had properties to sell but weren’t put off by the property or the price.

Communication was excellent, he really drove things forward with the sale and he was always available to help. All in all a great experience from initial valuation with George, photos with Nicki and the top man Spencer! Would thoroughly recommend George James!

Jamie valued our property £15k higher than any other agent and got us an offer from first time buyers at full asking price in 3 working days. 1st May 2026 (5 mo. ago)The owner Jamie was so rude and arrogant, they didn’t tell the vendors about another offer on their property to which we went and kindly spoke to them and they confirmed they knew nothing about it. He even had the cheek to say well I’ve checked your chain and your buyers buyer isn’t sold and if your estate agent was any good they would check this? I checked this and it turns out it is sold and he got the house wrong. I refuse to buy any house from them to line the pocket of such a rude man
