17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

He and his team kept us updated throughout the sale and were quick to answer questions.<br><br>This was especially valuable during some tricky moments (when information wasn't particularly forthcoming from other parties in the chain), without that, sales can ultimately fall apart.<br>Buying and selling a house is stressful enough and Ed made the process as smooth as possible.<br><br>I'd happily recommend him and Knight Frank Sevenoaks to others.
18th Sep 2024 (1 year ago)Told it'd be a fair viewing system and everyone would get a chance to view it before a decision, so don't worry about making an early viewing and late week one would be fine, to then be told one of the first viewers have been accepted. Pretty disgusting service, if the landlord can decide to take the first viewers then why lie to people about a "fair system".
13th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Fantastic estate agents and an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the purchase of our new home.<br><br>Marcus was extremely helpful from start to finish and was always on hand whenever we needed advice, an update, or help chasing things along. Buying a house can be stressful, especially when you’re part of a chain, but Marcus was brilliant at keeping in touch, communicating with everyone involved and doing everything he could to keep things moving.<br><br>We really appreciated how approachable, responsive and supportive he was throughout the whole process. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and it was reassuring knowing we could contact him whenever we had a question or concern.<br><br>We’ve had a fantastic experience with Sibley Pares and would highly recommend them to anyone buying or selling a property. A huge thank you to Marcus and the whole team for helping us get our new home over the line!

They were professional, yet offered a very personal service. I appreciated their support during the ups and downs of conveyancing. Emails were answered promptly and I was kept updated throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend their services.

I've had bad experiences with estate agents before, and working with Tim was a relief. He talked straight, kept us informed at every step, and offered invaluable advice to help us navigate the entire process of selling our flat smoothly. His photos were fantastic, great communication and his guidance made a real difference. He genuinely cared about getting the best outcome for us.

To date, John Kingston and Victoria Brothy, who have been handling the sale, have been excellent. The property has been well marketed and we have found the team to be professional and quick to respond .
7th Apr 2026 (23 weeks ago)We were very interested in renting a property through this agent and made it clear from the outset that we needed to proceed quickly. After the initial viewing, we received a prompt call, but then communication stopped for over a week. During that time, we had to move forward with another property to avoid losing it due to the lack of response. Only after we had paid a holding deposit elsewhere did the agent come back to say the landlord wished to proceed with our original application. By that point, it was too late, and it was not reasonable to expect us to risk paying a second holding deposit. The process felt disorganised and unclear, and it came across as though we were left waiting while other applications were being assessed. 30th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)Absolutely first class service, if I had another house to sell, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.<br>Completely professional, very friendly, and a team that works really well together.<br>We have just completed a difficult and drawn out house sale, but the individuals at Waghorns were incredibly tenacious, part of their success coming from being really personable and helpful to both sides, as well as keeping solicitors on the ball.<br>They take a genuine interest in the client and, despite any difficulty, are reliable and fun to work with. Thank you John and your team.
20th Apr 2026 (22 weeks ago)Enquired about a property on 30th March by email, didn’t hear anything, so called the office every day for a week just to clarify if the property was still available, each time a team member took my details and said they would get the person dealing with the property to call me back. I never received a call, I then was given the direct number and email for the person dealing with the property so tried to contact them several times myself with no luck. It’s now 20th April, I never heard back Customer service is on the floor

Three or 4 months since property on market with Jack Charles just had one viewer. I have asked them to take the property off market. I couldn’t get to manager on the phone unfortunately.

We both bought and sold through them, and the whole experience was professional, friendly and straight forward from start to finish.<br><br>One thing that really stood out to us when choosing an agent was the quality of their property photographs. They present all their houses beautifully and really set themselves apart from the competition.<br><br>Communication throughout was excellent, and we always felt looked after and kept informed. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Damian and Zac. A fantastic service all round x

Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.
