21st May 2022 (1 year ago)I had 3 valuations done and chose Mansell McTaggart because I thought that they had the best strategy for marketing the property. The property went on the market on bank holiday Monday 2 May and was sold by the 5th May for over the asking price. In the few days before it was sold they were able to show 16 or 18 people round.
2nd Apr 2024 (17 days ago)I sold my property through the Sevenoaks Branch of Jackson Stops and would thoroughly recommend them. The team are very friendly and professional. They aim to get to know you as well as your property. They like to conduct viewings themselves which leads to a more impartial and honest viewing. Everyone at the office visited the property and talked to me so that they were well informed when showing people around. My contact kept me well informed every step of the process and if they weren't in the office when I phoned everyone else was sufficiently well informed about my sale to answer my questions.

Me and my family are planning on relocating to Sussex to be near family and give my kids a better life as we live in London. we found this lovely house got accepted tho great let's get everything moving getting references done so my partner put in his notice at work as his a support work has been for over 8 years and hours are not flexible 14 hours days plus sleep in so he got job thats more flexible so can look for work in the new area. Explained all this even said we would pay a few months in advance then get rejected coz my partner not having a stable job how that make sense.
3rd Apr 2024 (16 days ago)I recently concluded a tenancy with Alexandre Boyes, I feel it's important to share my experience for the benefit of future tenants. Initially, the estate seemed promising; however, I soon faced significant issues. The most pressing was a large damp problem within both bedrooms of the property, which was acknowledged by the agency but, disappointingly, remained unresolved for the last six months of my tenancy. This not only affected my living conditions but also raised concerns about long-term health impacts. Another surprising oversight was the miscommunication regarding the property's parking situation. I was informed the road was public, but it turned out to be private, leading to unnecessary tension with neighbors. Furthermore, my experience with the deposit return process was particularly stressful. The attempt to withhold the majority of my deposit without clear justification was unsettling. Thankfully, the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) mediated, resulting in a £400 return in my favor, which highlighted the discrepancies in the agency's claims. Despite these challenges, I attempted to facilitate a smooth transition by allowing viewings after I moved out, two months before the end of my agreement. I even reached out proactively to ensure the property was left in a satisfactory condition for the next tenant. Regrettably, my efforts to communicate and address potential issues were met with silence, only for these same points to be unfoundedly cited against me at the end of the tenancy. I could talk to more examples of failure from Alexandre Boyes such as the broken back gate which they were aware of as I had reported it twice already, The next door neighbor ended up paying for the repairs in the end due to the lack of response from Alexandre Boyes. This experience has been a learning curve. While I understand that managing properties and expectations can be challenging, transparency, communication, and action are crucial in the estate agency business. I hope this feedback serves as constructive criticism for Alexandre Boyes, to improve their service for future tenants.

Hector was excellent, keeping me regularly informed every step of the way and he really helped to drive the purchase forward. He was helpful, friendly and professional from start to finish. Just the sort of service you want when embarking on a move.

Even though it took a while to get a buyer, we had lots through the door once we dropped the price and your regular feedback about buyers’ impressions made us feel that you were there for us.
14th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)They over valued the house by £50k therefore they took longer to sell it. Once it was reduced to a better price it sold. I didn't think the write up explained that the house needed modernisation I had to ask for it to be changed. However when I threatened to take the house off the market and modernise it myself a new sales assistant took over the sale she was more proactive and found a buyer.

They were always very helpful and willing to answer all my queries so I was really comfortable throughout the whole rental process. I can thoroughly recommend Jackson Stops based on my experience

Faith was beyond professional in the way she had guided me around several properties before recommending this one. 2nd Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)The survey provided was efficient, helpful and friendly. The report was received promptly and all queries answered quickly and simply, including plenty of photos of the flat roof. It was good to find a surveyor who could survey a flat roof at a very competitive price.
29th Feb 2024 (7 weeks ago)The entire process from valuation to completion was so incredibly smooth. We were kept up to date on a regular basis and never left waiting. Fantastic company that we have already recommended to our family who are about to list.
