17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.
21st May 2022 (1 year ago)I had 3 valuations done and chose Mansell McTaggart because I thought that they had the best strategy for marketing the property. The property went on the market on bank holiday Monday 2 May and was sold by the 5th May for over the asking price. In the few days before it was sold they were able to show 16 or 18 people round.

4th Jul 2022 (1 year ago)terrible attendance. I was attended by a gentleman and I was very embarrassed. I felt like rubbish. me and my husband were treated like nothing. I believe because we are immigrants. I do not recommend this agency to anyone!

6th Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)Wood & Pilcher did a correct valuation of the property, arranged viewings efficiently and quickly found a good buyer. They monitored the sale process and stepped in when necessary, always keeping me updated.
2nd Feb 2024 (12 weeks ago)The survey provided was efficient, helpful and friendly. The report was received promptly and all queries answered quickly and simply, including plenty of photos of the flat roof. It was good to find a surveyor who could survey a flat roof at a very competitive price.
