He is that very rare estate agent … he understands how to listen, exactly how to promote a sale and best of all, he looks to the interests of both buyer and seller which really helps the selling process to progress smoothly. I highly recommend him.
17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

16th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Had Garnham H Bewley provide me a valuation not knowing what my house was worth after 15 years here and after some recent upgrades carried out. Very knowledgeable of the local area, on what my house was worth and what it would likely sell for. If I do decide to move I’ll definitely use them in the future. Very friendly, enthusiastic but not pushy like other agents.
4th Jul 2022 (3 years ago)terrible attendance. I was attended by a gentleman and I was very embarrassed. I felt like rubbish. me and my husband were treated like nothing. I believe because we are immigrants. I do not recommend this agency to anyone!

It really felt like we were on the house selling journey with “friends” who really cared. This continued with Tamsin who was brilliant with sales progression through to the end The whole team went above and beyond. We felt reassured and supported throughout and would definitely recommend. Totally love you all. Massive thank you for your dedication and commitment.

Le Grys created an attractive marketing campaign that really highlighted the strengths and unique features of the house the photos and overall presentation were excellent. They also managed the viewings with great care and efficiency, giving me clear feedback after each visit. Despite the difficult market conditions for sellers right now, Lauren has an absolute knack for selling properties quickly and even off-market, for a great price, before other agents would have even got going. As someone that has worked in the property industry for 20 years, I have been shocked at how quickly she sold our property, as well as the great sale price she achieved, for not only us but also one of our neighbours in a seperate sale. I really didn't think traditional high street agencies could or would be so creative and work to such a high level but Lauren clearly brings skills that she has acquired from other industries and uses them to full effect when placing buyers with properties. The result... she knocks socks off. And Despite being a killer saleswoman, you wouldn't know it from speaking with her, she's super nice, quick to build trust and confidence and doesn't cut corners later with the after sales/sales progression like a lot of top sellers often do. I've already told her, not only would we use her again on any property matters, regardless of what agency she represented at the time, but I would even employ her in our agency in a heartbeat if given the chance! Thanks again Lauren, you're a superstar.

The sale was not an easy one, numerous challenges and hair pulling moments but Hannah & Oliver were tremendous, didn't miss a beat and at every twist & turn were there, proactive, helpful and communicated very openly and honestly. We would highly recommend Savills to everyone - we just hope our next purchase is with Savills.

They always give 100% when transforming and styling spaces and take time to adjust minute details to allow properties to look their best. On top of that they have great personalities and look after those working with them and their customers. I just received a lovely card thanking me for working with them this year, an unexpected touch of kindness.

5th Jun 2026 (14 days ago)When we recently sold mum’s house in Uckfield, we received five star service from Oakfield Estate Agents, in particular from Connor, John and Jade. Communication was exceptional. Even when it was clear that Connor was on annual leave, he was still available to ensure everything went smoothly! This was a difficult time for us as a family and everyone at Oakfield were very understanding and sensitive to our circumstances. We would not hesitate to recommend Oakfield to anyone selling their house.
