9th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I rented my previous home through Talbots for a year, and the experience was genuinely outstanding. The entire Talbots team was consistently supportive, professional, and quick to help with anything I needed. Having dealt with several estate agents over the last five years in the UK, Talbots really stands out for the quality of service they provide. They treat tenants with respect, communicate clearly, and make the whole renting process smooth and stress?free. I only moved out because I needed to relocate closer to my partner’s workplace, otherwise, I would have happily stayed on as their tenant. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a reliable and tenant?focused letting agent.

Adam was incredibly professional, kind, and supportive, and Warren was also so helpful throughout. They found me a property so quickly and made what could have been a very stressful situation feel so much easier. I truly couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended.
27th May 2026 (17 days ago)I rented a property with this agency in 2024, and although I’m writing this review late, people should be aware of my experience. This was one of the worst agencies I have dealt with. The property was full of cockroaches when I moved in (I did not know before I move in). No proper measures were taken to eradicate them. During the tenancy, they agreed that I could move out, but after that they completely stopped answering calls and emails. Then one day, they suddenly sent me an email claiming I had breached the contract and refused to return my deposit. Very unprofessional and dishonest behavior. I would strongly advise others to avoid this agency.

1st Aug 2023 (2 years ago)Real lack of transparency, always guessing what’s happening, I had to constantly email to find out information, not once did I have an email from them to me, the excuse I can’t give you information I don’t have and leave you hanging for ever untill they do is a very poor excuse, vetting of clients finances poor, the senior manager at Haart, should know the customer is key to there buisiness, I found the customer service from her to be poor, and felt a little intimidated into sticking with a client for 2 months knowing he couldn’t get a mortgage, and saying to me it’s not like you have a choice, you didn’t have any other offers so let’s just wait, it’s ultimately my decision if I have a choice or not, and it ended up being the biggest waste of my time, not even an apology, we’ll I’m sorry that’s just not good enough, so I ended my time with them and have now remarketed, I know there not responsible if a client can’t get a mortgage, but they are definitely responsible for clear transparency between themseves and there customer, which was clearly lacking, need to do better

14th Jul 2023 (2 years ago)After my rental fell through at the last minute, Bradley was extremely helpful in finding me a new flat. Within a few short hours he had a few suitable options for me and within 48 hours an offer was accepted! What a relief, I couldnt recommend him highly enough!

Ian was quick to respond to emails, transparent about the application process, and processed everything efficiently and very quickly as me and my partner had to move in quick. Right from the get go, he was upfront and honest about our selling prospects and was always great at communicating and giving advice as to how to make our flat as sellable as possible and it paid off in the end. 23rd Mar 2026 (12 weeks ago)Craig Anthony Ashcroft & Mrs Beverley Gepp of The property studio Barnet ltd are decietful and have no regard at all about the rights of those living adjacent to their tenants. AVOID like the plague. Won’t even send anything over that counteracts HM Land registry official documents. Enabling trespassing and harassment. Blocking our sunlight and failing to even provide a time or date when it’s being cut. No parking in their tenants AST. Yet they take up not one but 2 parking bays in the car park when their 1 space is allocated around the corner. Ridicules those with disabilities and refuse to make reasonable adjustments under equality act 2010 to write back on email. LEGAL ACTION PENDING against them and to the redress scheme they are subscribed to. 0/10

He was endlessly polite, unbelievably patient, and answered every single one of our questions with kindness and clarity. Truly, what a gentleman! Buying a property is usually stressful, but Richard made the entire experience feel so much easier and far less daunting. His support and professionalism were outstanding from start to finish. When we next decide to move, Lowthers will be the only agents we even consider. I will be recommending them to absolutely everyone I know!

22nd Mar 2026 (12 weeks ago)I viewed a property through this estate agent, and it reeked of a strong food odour that would be difficult to remove from walls and furnishings. When I asked if it would be professionally cleaned or if the furnishings could be removed, Daniel, the agent was evasive. They insisted I provide all my personal documents before they can even ask the landlord, seemingly trying to pressure me into making an offer without any guarantee it would be honoured. They then ignored my email and only responded after the property had already been let.
