Once again Andy Christophi and the lettings crew at MG have found us lovely tenants. The whole process was so smooth and efficient. We always receive a very personal service from all the staff at Muswell Hill branch-great bunch!
The Martyn Gerrard sales team were very helpful and professional (as well as retaining the personal touch!). Mark knows what he's doing and Glenn provided the day to day communications to keep us aware at all times. I'm generally cautious of Real Estate Agents but I have to admit, these guys got the job done with style!
I used Greene and Co to buy a flat in 2009 and to rent it out in 2012 and then sell it in 2016 and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
In particular, my most recent experience in selling my flat has been fantastic, and that's thanks to Ersin Mehmet, who was responsible for securing a buyer for me.
Ersin is utterly unflappable, affable, extremely professional and a brilliant communicator - he proactively kept me informed and up to date with the progress of the sale and was extremely responsive to any queries or concerns I had during the process. He is quite simply awesome at his job and if you are looking to sell your property, a) use Greene and Co, they are brilliant and b) based on my experience, ask for Ersin.
Greene & Co. we’re not just unhelpful during the purchase our flat in crouch end, we found them to be highly untruthful. They lied to us about various aspects of the property.
Further, they took advantage of the fact that they were first time buyers and we’re patronising throughout the buying process.
Dan and Summer were particularly disappointing.
Would not recommend them and I suspect that all good reviews here were written by sellers rather than buyers.
Negotiations skills excellent !
Greedy and untrustworthy. After our deal to pay in advance 5000£ for a studio in Cricklewwod, 3 months rent plus agency fees e.c.t, the next day they said that because of my unsatisfactory references i should pay 6 months up front rent, 7500£. After i rejected their offer, finally they made me the favour to procced with our first agreement. So if i had accepted to pay 7500£ probably they would asked me for 10000£. They were really hilarious! Instantly i cancelled the deal and i asked for a refund which was clearly stated that in case of unsatisfactory references it would be refundable.Of course they didn't. Be carefull guys, London is full of vultures.London Habitat is a great example.
Thank you David Silver for helping us let out our property. Your advice and guidance throughout the process was brilliant. We very much enjoyed working with you and if you are looking for a professional and friendly service we would not hesitate to recommend Hetheringtons to anyone who asked us.
The first meeting with Nicky the Manager seemed to be a positive experience. I encouraged my fiancé to use their services after meeting with two other estate agents in the area. However, from that moment on the experience went downhill. Nicky had no involvement in the sale of the property. There was no care taken when viewings took place in the property. A number of times returning to find all the lights left on in the flat and sometimes this would have been across a weekend while we were away. Even my house cat was shut in a room so he could not access his water and litter tray by them. The whole experience felt like Hetheringtons did not have our best interest at heart. Mark was very patronising and condescending at times. Not listening and talking over you. Debbie even got involved in contacting the owners of the property we were looking to purchase without our permission to negotiate a longer period for them to wait for us to sell our property. We were about to take our property off the market with them and to instruct a new agent. When we had two offers made and we went for the ones with no chain. This took a period of 6 months and every time we asked why the purchaser wasn’t progressing. It was always blamed on our solicitor who they recommended us to use. It became clear after some time that Hetheringtons had not undertaken the proper financial checks on our purchaser which was the main reason for the delay. After putting pressure on for some time. I was then told we should start showing other people the property. We then gave a hard deadline to complete by which pushed the sale through. It was a stressful experience with daily calls being made to Hetheringtons. I would not sell with them again or recommend them to our family and friends. As well as in a professional capacity when we often get asked by our clients who we would recommend for selling their houses.
Homeira & Ashley were friendly and easy to work with, and we had a good experience signing everything off.
NEVER get involved with Bairstow eves and Countrywide lettings! I have waited 3.5 months to get my showever door fixed. Resulting in not being able to have a shower without proping the door in place. of the 18 April the shower door fell on my three year old child causeing a trip to A&E and yet Bairstow eves has still not done anything about this! I am a longterm rentee and have always without fail paid my rent. I am currently seeking Legal advise. Bairstow eves Lettings and Country wide has no complaints proceedure that I can find and i have looked thoroughly.
Thanks to Toby for all his help in buying our new place. We can't recommend him and David Astburys highly enough! Genuinely made the house buying process less stressful than everyone had been promising. Thanks again!
We had an excellent experience with DA. We came from the US and were able to find a perfect flat for us within about a week and moved in soon after. Jordan was a huge help and went out of his way to help us, including giving us tips for what to do on the weekend in our new neighborhood. Once we moved to the administrative letting process, Harriet was incredibly clear and helpful through every step of the process, despite our somewhat complicated financial/visa situation. I would and probably will recommend DA to my friends and colleagues in the future!
