I was able to arrange viewings within 2 days that suits my schedule. The lady that handled my case was professional and polite as well. All the questions that I raised where answered promptly. I high recommend skill to anyone local.
4th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)Lots of promises and good advice at initial face to face meeting. They got me to drop the price quite early on. Two viewings in 7 months. I was supposed to have a phone call with them last week and had an appointment time booked. No phone call but a generic email. At the start they suggested I have new stair carpet and flooring in some rooms . I had new bathroom, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, landing and stair carpet put down. They took the house of the market without telling me. The sign was taken from the front of my house. I checked online and they had pulled the house of the market. Almost quite childish? I think it was a poor set of photos and description having reviewed my experience. They stated partially double glazed when I had every window replaced to double glazed. Just odd things that they didn't mention. I am not sure if they know the area and market that well as it is a good location. The house market is always difficult through the winter months but putting that aside , the company just don't communicate at all. I started to look at other options for selling as you just don't hear from them. I think the last promised phone call was my clear signal that as something needed to change. Their poor practice made the decision for me. I will express that the guy that saw me on the first visit to discuss selling was very good. Talks a good talk.

11th Jun 2026 (2 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience selling my house through Dixons. Throughout the process, Lee was often rude whenever I spoke with him, and his attitude made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. Eventually, I told the company that I no longer wanted any communication with him, and things improved after that. I paid around £2,400 to sell my house and was told that this would cover the service. My solicitor was given the same understanding. Very little work appeared to go into the sale. No photos were taken of my property, and as far as I am aware, no marketing was carried out on my behalf. After the sale completed, and around a month after I had already provided statements and the requested paperwork, I was unexpectedly told that I owed an additional £118. This had never been made clear to me during the sale process. The company continued to email me demanding payment and eventually passed the matter to debt collectors. At the time, I was busy renovating my property and did not always have the opportunity to call or deal with additional correspondence, which made the situation even more stressful. Overall, I found the service poor, communication unprofessional, and the additional charge unexpected. Based on my experience, I would not use this company again.

He gave a thorough explanation of the selling process and his excellent photographs facilitated a subject to contract sale within a week. All our dealings with Castle Bromwich branch have been exemplary. We would have no hesitation in recommending this agency.

The team, especially Paul and Jan, made me feel supported throughout the entire process always keeping me updated, answering every question, and going above and beyond what I expected. Their knowledge of the local market and dedication to excellent communication made buying/selling a property smooth, stress?free and genuinely enjoyable. Sophie went above and beyond to negotiate the best terms for me and all parties including landlord were happy to exchange. I was also in contact with Joe who assisted with all my enquiries. Very seamless experience that only took 3 weeks from the first viewing.
11th Feb 2026 (17 weeks ago)Absolutely shocking service. Ringing multiple trying to get answers, so many times the phone cuts off without answering. Emailing countless times without any aknowledgment. Leaving a young female Tennant with mental health in need of resolutions for the flat & causing health deterioration due to no heating in property since when we had snow this year. WiFi being down for weeks. Draft through bedroom window. Paying rent for a service not provided. She even travelled from Dudley to the Smethwick office to seek answers, to which they still haven't resolved. Much better when landlord managed his own property. I don't know how they've won awards if this is the service they provide to the masses.

7th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I Honestly could not recommend Belvoir enough. It was 3 days from the initial visit with Nathan, listing going live, 3 viewings booked then agreed sale. We did have an issue with a tyre kicker buyer but Belvoir alleviated our frustration and sold our property again almost immediately. Considering how general customer service seems to be going down the pan, hats off to Harvey, Katie, Liam, Chloe and the rest of the team for making the grey hair inducing experience of moving house easier!

6th Jun 2026 (7 days ago)We have just completed the house sale of our mother’s house. This was a stressful time for us but everything ran smoothly with Andrew Downing Booth estate agents. They had been recommended by a neighbour and came top of our list after visits from other estate agents. The house sold in January within a week of going up for sale and we exceeded the asking price. Photography, videos and all the advertising were very impressive. Communication was very efficient and we had every confidence in each person we worked with. They even created a WhatsApp group for us as none of the family lived locally. In particular Karen Tew became our rock and guided us through the process. She was incredibly supportive and she proved a very useful link between us, solicitors and the buyers, cutting through bureaucracy to get quick answers. At our request Andrew recommended a solicitor who also proved exceptionally good. We have no hesitation to recommend this estate agent in Aldridge.
