17th Mar 2026 (19 weeks ago)Visited this branch as we’re hoping to relocate to the area this summer and I wanted to see what we could get for our budget. The whole team were very helpful and enthusiastic, especially the branch manager who you could tell had a wealth of experience, and really made me feel more comfortable. This is a big move for my family and we’re looking forward to viewing properties with Ian and the team soon.

1st Jan 2026 (6 mo. ago)Stewart Oliver City Sales & Lettings is hands down the worst letting agency in Birmingham. They charged us the wrong amount and took payment immediately, despite the fact that no damage was caused at all — this happened on the first day. When challenged, they flat-out refused to admit their mistake or issue a refund. The staff in the office are rude, dismissive, and completely resistant. They have zero respect for customers and make no effort to listen or resolve issues. Every interaction feels like they are trying to intimidate rather than help. To make matters worse, they are letting commercial properties for residential use, which is extremely concerning and raises serious questions about the legality of their operations. This agency is unprofessional, unethical, and careless. They cause unnecessary stress and clearly do not care about tenants at all. Avoid at all costs.

1st Jul 2026 (28 days ago)I have a ongoing issues with my tenancy. Most of the Maintenance is not being carried out. When it is carried out, the standard is so poor that it's led to more problems for them to fix. Theres mould in the house. The gas safety hasn't been done. Repairs have left it a health a safety risk to children. I need evidence from them for my benefits but they have not responded so I am now at risk of losing my house because of the landlord. I have tried ringing various numbers, leaving voicemails, emails, letters posted to them, even my lawyer cannot get a response. They simply do not care. Would not recommend but alas I do think this is a common problem with landlords on the whole anyway.

Dave carried out the property valuation, along with several other agents and put us at ease with his local market knowledge and his sound property advice. Absolutely amazing and professional service from the whole Apple Property Solutions team. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to sell in the Great Barr area.
13th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)Extremely poor service from Jacob. Decided upon himself to alter the asking price without our consent. No apology when questioned. Very defensive attitude. Such a shame as the owner was very apologetic on his behalf and showed way more professionalism. Please learn to own your mistakes. Breach of contract so when we asked for an email to be sent to us removing our house sale and any liability when moving on to another agent he made excuses as being to busy to send a simple email. Really disappointing service and more concerning his attitude. Two days on and we are still waiting on the email!

He gave a thorough explanation of the selling process and his excellent photographs facilitated a subject to contract sale within a week. All our dealings with Castle Bromwich branch have been exemplary. We would have no hesitation in recommending this agency.- 22nd May 2026 (10 weeks ago)I had to keep contacting them to find out what was going on. Didn’t always respond to emails and phone calls. Had viewings but they didn’t seem to follow through with due diligence. Poor customer service. Changed agents after 6 months with them and sold within 2 weeks.

Sophie went above and beyond to negotiate the best terms for me and all parties including landlord were happy to exchange. I was also in contact with Joe who assisted with all my enquiries. Very seamless experience that only took 3 weeks from the first viewing.
20th Mar 2026 (19 weeks ago)The main hq is super helpful. This Tan guy from Henry's. I swear to god he never answers his calls, does not reply to messages and is least corporative. Its been three weeks and I havent been able to duplicate my loss key to my house! Why do you guys even have him?? If you guys are never open, dont display opening hours on Google
11th Feb 2026 (24 weeks ago)Absolutely shocking service. Ringing multiple trying to get answers, so many times the phone cuts off without answering. Emailing countless times without any aknowledgment. Leaving a young female Tennant with mental health in need of resolutions for the flat & causing health deterioration due to no heating in property since when we had snow this year. WiFi being down for weeks. Draft through bedroom window. Paying rent for a service not provided. She even travelled from Dudley to the Smethwick office to seek answers, to which they still haven't resolved. Much better when landlord managed his own property. I don't know how they've won awards if this is the service they provide to the masses.

The team was professional, friendly, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Communication was excellent, and they were always available to answer questions and provide updates. Their knowledge of the local market helped us achieve a successful sale, and they made what can often be a stressful process feel much smoother and more manageable.
