21st Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Within a couple of weeks of listing our bungalow with Osbornes we had several viewings and an offer which we accepted. As things stand we are now going through survey and legals etc. Osbornes are keeping us fully up to date, and have been pro-active, accommodating and flexible throughout the whole process.
19th Feb 2024 (23 weeks ago)They completely ruined the house buying experience for us!! They didn't manage the seller well and couldn't get required information from seller for almost 10 months after the offer was accepted. The most annoying part was they would not update us, would never answer their phone, if luckily we get through to them they would promise to update us and never call back. Totally unprofessional. Wasted so much of our time and money!

The whole process was handled very professionally with a large dose of friendliness. I highly recommend using them for your sale.

29th Sep 2023 (9 mo. ago)Charters have kept close communication with me and have been fully engaged throughout my selling journey. They have been realistic with me on selling price and helped negotiations through the chain to make the deal work. Once a sale was agreed they appointed an agent to work 1-1 with me to progress the sale and stay close to my Solicitor and my Buyer - this was a service unique to Charters as I have not found this with any other Estate Agent.

Passionate about our house, and the area, competitively priced and communicative and reassuring throughout. This combination of things also meant we managed to achieve a higher price than what any of the other agents quoted when choosing a vendor. It really does pay to use somebody who is as passionate about your house/area as you are! Big thanks to the whole team, highly recommended!
18th Jul 2024 (9 days ago)Enquired about a property here multiple times, letting agent Alexsey has very poor communication skills and did not get back to me, then completely ignored my email. Scheduled a virtual viewing which I did not receive for the specified time and only received a day later once asking. Asked him to give me a call twice so we could discuss the property however he only wanted to be contacted via email. However on the bright side all other staff seem to be quite friendly and helpful

Ollie came to value our house that we had lived in for over 25 years and made the difficult decision to put our house on the market much easier. Danny was brilliant throughout our sales process and we achieved a price for our house that we were very happy with. Then Kev helped to get us over the line to completion. Thanks for all your hard work. I must also mention Janine at Lamb Brooks, who was extremely helpful in getting our sale and purchase finalised. She is very professional and was always quick to answer any questions that we had.

25th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)We have recently bought a property through Billingham Martin and, as a first time buyer, Darren was everything you'd want from an Estate Agent; knowledgeable, informative, calm, reachable and fair with his advice. Made the whole process as seamless as possible, and quickly pivoted when our (... erratic) solicitors changed the goalposts on a few occasions, with an assured voice that he would speak to the other side of the transaction to ensure they were informed of changes. Cannot recommend Darren, and Billingham Martin, enough. Really great experience of buying our first home

16th May 2024 (10 weeks ago)Haydon was very good at keeping me informed and advising me. Had an offer almost immediately unfortunately the chain fell through but a few weeks later it’s under offer again. The only reason they lost a star for value for money is I think all estate agents are expensive and should do more of a fixed price rather than a percentage.
4th Jul 2024 (23 days ago)I signed into a 3 month contract with Romans after being told they had 10 potential buyers with 1 cash buyer ready to view. I handed over the keys at the property with good expectations. 4 days later I was asked to drop the price by 25K from their original valuation as they hadn't seen the property. The property that I signed the contracts and handed over the key in. I explained I was very disappointed as they hadn't put up a for sale sign and with this small measure being missed I was very concerned of the lack of marketing being done in other areas before I dropped £25,000 off the valuation. After 4 weeks I was asked to drop the price by a FURTHER 25K after being advised their sales team couldn't get any interest. £50,000 in 4 weeks after they seen the property and valuing it. Over pricing it to get the listing and and smashing the original price to get the quick sale. In total Romans organised 2 viewings with no feedback over the 3 months of having the listing. I was advised on multiple occasion that our contract could not be broken, despite being giving an original valuation and promises of viewings. If you want false promises and an agents only selling technique is to drop the price, then use Romans. Lewis was the original contact who I signed in with. If he or Romans promises anything get it in writing as I have and I'll now be send it to the property ombudsman. I was also only getting up dates and replies to my emails every 3/4 days with a graph from Rightmove with click activity, proving they were not being proactive and didn't push the property and only relying on external leads. Please see below for a list of bad and lazy sales excuses.
