17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.
12th Oct 2023 (7 mo. ago)We first met Jilly Wellman when we were considering selling our house several years ago now. We were dissatisfied with the agent at that time and found Jilly so helpful even though not her clients that we vowed to contact her in the future. We withdrew our property from the market at that time. So, having lived at our current address for 29 years we decided to sell and contacted Jilly. Obviously, out of touch with the selling process and anxious about it, Jilly was immediately reassuring and was so enthusiastic about our property and conveyed confidence in getting a sale that we took re-assurance from that. Throughout the whole process she kept in touch, put suitable people forward for viewings, answered all emails and texts promptly. She introduced her colleague who would occasionally stand in for her and showed her around. She also communicated when her colleague was doing the viewings. She assured us she would be with us every step of the way and she was. The thing that is striking is after many years doing her job she is so enthusiastic and competent and goes out of her way to be helpful and clearly loves meeting her clients. We were also very happy with the price she pitched our property at. A gem of an agent! I would also like to say how helpful and welcoming Jo Windsor and Diana Steer were in the process of our sale. In view of our experience, I would certainly recommend Strutt & Parker Estate Agents.
9th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)Davina was superb at showing us properties that met our criteria, she was very knowledgeable about all thr properties we viewed and we never felt pressured to put an offer on a property if it wasn't quite right. She kept refining her list based on our feedback and would regularly let us know if properties were coming to the market soon, so we could arrange viewings before they hit RightMove. It was great to have a single point of contact and I would highly recommend Hamptons.
30th Apr 2024 (18 days ago)1st class from Nick and the team in the Ash Vale office. Throughout selling our house Nick has worked tirelessly and persistently to reach exchange of contracts. There where some challenges along the way however we where always provided with confidence that MacKenzie Smith where on top of these. Would highly recommend and certainly would not think twice about using MacKenzie Smith in the future.

15th May 2024 (3 days ago)I had never rented before si I was very unsure of the process, it seemed a bit of a minefield! Tracey Cook guided me through the entire process and made sure absolutely everything happened seamlessly. As always, there were a few issues but Tracey is so knowledgeable that she had the answer/solution to everything. The teams in Farnborough and Fleet are just so pleasant to deal with too. 100% recommended. Sage advise from Paul on pricing and presentation and his local contacts resulted in several quality viewings and an offer that we accepted just four weeks after going onto the market. His subsequent attention to detail on the exchange process played a significant part in exchange of contracts seven weeks later. Including the delivery of documents to solicitors for our buyers to expedite process. Thank you Paul !!

6th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)Pilgrims, agent Elliot Griffin, were estate agents for a property we put an offer on. The offer was accepted in writing. While we were sorting out soliciting etc, took about a week because it was over Eastern, Elliot let other interested parties view the property without us knowing it and then we got a phone call after eastern saying that now someone else had purchased the property. So, if you deal with Pilgrims and Elliot Griffin, an accepted offer doesn't mean anything. Be aware!

Adele was fantastic - always there to help and guide me during some difficult and emotional times. Special thanks also to Jenny and Rob for all their help. We eventually sold the house through their Auction process which resulted in the best possible outcome, particularly because the whole procedure was quick and extremely efficient. I can’t thank them enough and highly recommend this great local Estate Agent.
