27th Sep 2019 (6 years ago)Unprofessional, dishonest, complete luck of understanding of personal circumstances. Ryan was showing me the property and he was very nice and professional, however foe a week I was told that I would get the answer to my offer today. In stead of saying that they have lined up someone for a property Niamh has lied about not being able to get in touch with a landlady for over 10 days and suddenly when new people made an offer she was asking what my offer was and managed to get hold of the landlady (apparently she was trying every day, but how could she if apparently she didn't know what my offer was?!). I was lucky enough to find actually a better property with an estate agency who is in completely different league (premier) and Proctor (in Chatterton Village) doesn't belong to any.
11th Apr 2025 (1 year ago)Our property was valued too high and went out to their database too high even though we questioned it. When it went online it was missing filters, so wasn’t pulling through with garden (which wasn’t spotted for 3 weeks) and went on as a terrace not a semi-detached. Both detrimental to getting the right viewings. Selling points about our property didn’t seem to be passed on to the people showing the property, and it was not always the same person viewing. I sent a pdf over so that agents could use this to sell the property (off my own back) with information like - new boiler & boiler location, new flooring etc.. it was never used (I was waiting outside for the last viewing we did with them and was asked where the boiler was! lol) Once the wrong key was brought so they couldn’t get in.

16th Jul 2026 (19 days ago)After a frustrating four and half months with a 5-star rated agent where my vacant freehold property sat under offer (with a first-time buyer) with no exchange date in sight - I pulled out and decided to re-market with Sinclair Hammelton Bromley at the same price. The property went under offer very quickly again to another first-time buyer, but this time the post-offer support was entirely different.<br><br>Emily is a very approachable and experienced manager – she spent time discussing the pros and cons of each offer before I made my decision. As I have learnt last time, under offer is the easy part, managing the demanding post-offer progression - coordinating each party (surveyors, conveyancers and the buyers and sellers etc) is the real test. Jak is an energetic and enthusiastic individual who constantly kept on top of the progression. Emily was kept well-informed meaning either Jak or Emily were ready to assist with my queries.<br><br>Thanks to their hard work, communication and professionalism, we have finally completed. 1st May 2019 (7 years ago)After meeting with three agents, De Scottia were the chosen agent for a number of reasons. First being they were not pushing for a hard sale. Secondly, the agent quickly took note of the living situation with my elderly mother and took on board my comments of how fragile she is and to liaise with myself. He was brilliant from the start. Very easy to get hold of, prompt and efficient. He explained everything to us and was more than happy to explain anything we didn't understand without making us feel silly. Our agent was happy to get his hands dirty and move boxes (and a large bed!) to get the photos he needed. When we went on holiday and he needed access he ensured he understood the alarm system and sent me texts whilst away to keep me update and assure me the alarm was put back on. Fantastic service and really pleased we went with them. Our agent gave us honest feedback and we had an offer within 2 weeks. So far the sale is going through smoothly and I would highly recommend.

28th Jul 2026 (7 days ago)We were very pleased with the service offered by Black & Blanc. They were local and it was not a routine sale since the flat was owned by three people ; two lived in France and one, being quite ill, was often in hospital in the UK. This made arranging viewings a bit more difficult to manage but they were successful in this and the sale was made quickly and at the price we had asked for. It was important that the three owners were kept up to date with progress and informed of the evolving situation which the agents did regularly by WhatsApp and email which worked really well.

They found me a buyer off market as they already had someone on their expansive database that was specifically interested in our block of flats. We accepted an offer within a few days of the buyer viewing and despite being a drawn out and complicated sale due to leasehold issues, they kept all parties updated, made sure our lovely first time buyer wasn't put off by the complications of leasehold and chased solicitors to try to keep things moving as quickly as possible. The images to support my sale were some of the best I've ever seen, with additional video and drone images of the area. His narrative to describe my home was engaging not just a bland description of a room. He understood that you are not just selling a property but a lifestyle. I cannot rate him high enough.
