Lauren managed our sale and was incredibly helpful throughout, always responsive, professional, and went the extra mile to keep us informed at every stage.<br><br>Their fees were very reasonable too, especially given the level of service we received. The biggest advantage for us was that they’re genuinely local agents with great knowledge of the area. This made a real difference when it came to advising potential buyers about the location, which definitely helped speed up the sale.<br><br>Highly recommend Carter Williams, and Lauren in particular, to anyone looking to sell their property in the area

29th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)I wouldn’t personally recommend dealing with this estate agent based on my experience. The property was described as being from a “quality builder”, but that didn’t stack up when I actually viewed them. There were issues that hadn’t been mentioned beforehand, which left me feeling like the listings didn’t give an accurate picture of what you’re walking into. Viewings themselves weren’t particularly useful. The agent seemed to have very little understanding of the properties and couldn’t answer basic questions, which made the whole process feel like a bit of a waste of time. Getting hold of anyone was also a challenge. Calls weren’t returned, and when I did get through, the interaction felt more like I was being brushed off than actually helped. The tone came across as quite condescending at times, which didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Overall, it felt like dealing with a small operation without the structure, preparation, or professionalism you tend to get from more established agents. There just didn’t seem to be the systems or attention to detail you’d expect when making such an important decision. My experience was also a long way off what some of the more positive reviews suggest, which I found hard to understand given the issues I encountered. I’d suggest anyone considering using them does their own due diligence and doesn’t rely solely on what’s presented. Disappointing, and not something I’d choose to repeat.

They made the whole process feel simple and stress-free from start to finish. No matter how many questions we had (and there were a lot!), they were always happy to help, explain everything clearly, and keep us updated. They always picked up the phone whenever we needed them and chased everything up to help speed the process along. Their communication, professionalism, and support meant so much to us during such an important time. Thank you both so much — we truly appreciate everything you’ve done for us! Highly recommend.
12th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)I have been a tenant of Martin and Co since November of last year since they took on my property,having rented the same house for seven years always paying my rent on time.my interaction with Martin and Co has been the worst I have expeirenced in renting for the last 25 years,they offer a shambolic process for maintance do not respond to request even where safety is an issue and have no empathy for the customer.<br>They are happy for you to have to use the ombersman to resolve issues that they have no intention of dealing with.<br>They are the worst example of unscrupulous letting agents and the reason tenants are treated so badly.<br>Avoid at all costs!!

24th Jul 2026 (6 days ago)Having now worked with Alexanders across three separate property transactions, two sales and one purchase, I can confidently say they are one of the best estate agents we've dealt with.<br><br>Over the course of those transactions, I've had the pleasure of working with much of the team, including Harry, Emily, Anya, Stephanie and Hayden, and every one of them brought something different to the table. Whether it was sales progression, communication, negotiation or simply keeping everything moving, each person played an important part in making what can often be a stressful process feel straightforward and well managed.<br><br>Communication was consistently excellent throughout. The team were always proactive, responsive and willing to go the extra mile to resolve issues quickly. Rather than simply passing messages between solicitors, they genuinely helped drive the transactions forward and kept everyone aligned.<br><br>A special mention goes to Harry, who has clearly built a fantastic team and a genuinely well-oiled operation. It's evident that there's a strong culture of professionalism, teamwork and customer service throughout the business, and that filters through every interaction.<br><br>Buying and selling property is rarely without its challenges, but Alexanders made the whole experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will certainly use them again in the future. Five stars.

Any problems there on the ball and they are very on top of everything. From someone who thought these companies were all the same now I’ve seen both ends of the spectrum it’s definetly a huge difference and plus

24th Jul 2026 (6 days ago)Avoid this agency—clear discrimination against families. I viewed a property on Adderley Road listed by Focus Property, and the viewing agent explicitly told me there was very little interest in it. However, when I tried to apply the very next day, my application was instantly denied. When I called the office to follow up, a staff member named Miglena Ivanova explicitly told me over the phone that the landlord chose a couple over me simply because I have children. When I pointed out that this is blatant discrimination against families with kids, she claimed it wasn’t. It feels highly unprofessional, and I strongly suspect the agent didn’t even put my application forward to the actual owner. Under UK housing guidance and the Renters' Rights framework, refusing tenants simply for having children is completely unacceptable. Avoid their services if you have a family.
