17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

From my very first contact Edward was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Edward and his team made the whole process very straightforward and at all times they kept me well informed with rhe process.<br>I would not hesitate to recommend Roger Coupe, and in particular Edward in regards to selling a property.

Quick and efficient responses for all our queries. Then we bought our first house through them as well and their help was amazing. Every person of the staff I talked to knew about our case. I absolutely recommend them for your next rent/purchase. They will look after you.

Jenna clearly explained the process that needed to be followed, gave us useful guidance, and liaised helpfully and constructively with the landlord, where needed. We were kept informed of the status, and everything moved along promptly and efficiently under Jenna's direction. She was also charming to deal with.

I can’t recommend them enough. Particular shout goes out to Rob who has been my contact for years in Lettings - he’s a real asset.

Just excellent from start to finish and I’m still receiving emails checking that everything is going well. I was going through a very challenging time , but Kate was very patient and provided advice and support at every stage. This is my first renting experience and I feel extremely lucky that I was guided through this by Kate. Exceptionally positive experience.

4th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)The agency were good in most respects, however they suggested dropping the price within a few weeks of the property going on the market, which made us question their original valuation. Ultimately the original valuation turned out to be pretty accurate.
1st Nov 2026 (1 day ago)99h did not stop advertising my home after the contract ended, which meant that I was unable to respond to any enquiries received, which would have harmed my reputation as a seller. 99h did not always approve details/changes within 48 hours as promised, and resultantly, I missed a boxing day deadline. The staff are very quick to get in touch when selling upgrades or extending contracts, but are very slow to respond to queries. For the sake of £99 it might be worth a try, but keep your expectations low.

My journey with selling and my onwards purchase has been turbulent but at no fault of Eltons who always did a brilliant job. If you want an estate agent who truly cares about you as a person, and not just a property then Eltons are the best option. The modern house market is plagued with issues but I always felt I could rely on Eltons to support in the best way forward
