29th Sep 2022 (2 years ago)I'd happily recommend Sharman Quinney to anyone looking for mortgage advisor. I used them to get a mortgage for purchasing my first house. Phil was extremely helpful and made the experience very easy. I had been left in the dark by another mortgage advisor which made the start of the already daunting experience even worse. Phil set me at ease, he made the effort to keep in contact and guide me through the whole process. He explained everything clearly and offered good advice wherever I was unsure. All while being a genuine and friendly guy who clearly cares about his client’s needs.

Special call-out for Steph Stubbs who managed the process for us, and to Catherine, Ewan, and the other staff who supported along the way. Friendly, attentive service throughout; a credit to Bourne. Nice chilled high street office with a couple of relaxed and friendly dogs to greet you too.
7th May 2025 (11 days ago)We sold and purchased through Pygott & Crone and were very happy with the whole process. On a tricky moving day the team were especially brilliant. A particular mention also to the viewings. I got a sense the gentleman had taken the time to really know everything he could about the properties he was showing us.

I have been called up on the phone and disrespected, rudely addressed and hung up on by a staff member when responding to one of their questions. When I tried to call back in shock of how I was being addressed, I was hung up on by the staff member and they proceeded to block my phone number. I am shocked that a business would allow their employees to speak in such a way to tenants. This is in regard to a parcel that was left at a property I have moved out of and them wanting me to collect this - something I physically cannot do during my working hours - perhaps something that they might have heard if they listened to me on the call, didn’t shout down the phone and then hang up…

My agent Ben really went above and beyond for what turned out to be a difficult conveyancing experience but we got there in the end! I would definitely recommend Nested for a bespoke service you don’t get elsewhere.

18th Jul 2024 (9 mo. ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.

His approach, professionalism, attention to detail and constant weekly feed back was by far, so reassuring and a huge difference compared to our earlier experiences. He also went above and beyond the usual remit, and we would highly recommend him to anyone thinking of selling their house.
