7th May 2024 (2 years ago)Rude estate agents who turn their noses up at those on dss, my daughter is getting dss due to having a baby and going back to work part time. Ashame really as I've put into the system, my parents have too and to make a person feel dreadful for claiming something not knowing their background is disgraceful, discriminative and dam right rude. Try talking to the council as they advise to rent privately! Do not use this estate agent as they clearly do not understand the current housing issue or care!
2nd Mar 2025 (1 year ago)My communication with Winkworth was on and off. During that intermittent interaction with one of their agent, he sounded professional and very eager to assist with the selling. Overall Winkworth tried their best to sell my property but unfortunately was unsuccessful.

16th May 2026 (25 weeks ago)Not surprised to see some poor reviews here. I used Oakwood (Mottingham) before Covid for property management when moving abroad. They did not lodge the tenants deposit with DPS, and sent me a fake certificate when I asked for evidence. Daniel told me a temp worker had pocketed the deposit when he was on holiday and that she had produced the certificate (rubbish). He also did not follow due process when the tenants moved into the property which meant I had little chance for legal recourse should the tenants fall behind in rent. Oakwoods also did not provide me with a proper property management contract between them and myself, playing dumb when I asked for one. Unfortunately, this was my first time renting out a property and it was a learning experience. Agree with another reviewer that they only seemed to care about the sales side of the business.

We can fully recommend this property agency! 5 stars well deserved! Especially we would like to thanks Amna. She is totally star!
22nd Oct 2025 (1 year ago)Horrible experience with trying to get my deposit back (still trying to get it back to this day!). I put down the 5 week deposit for a flat that was advertised by Cavendish Cheam but had to back out due to personal circumstances. I understand that I cannot get back the 1 week holding deposit but for the rest of my money, it has not been returned yet. Daren has been claiming that I will be deposited the amount on certain days but has never followed through. It feels like I am being played at this point. Proceed with caution when dealing with this agency!
25th Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)The most unprofessional Estate agents ever. My son purchased a property through these people ( well so he thought) he had his offer accepted which was the highest, he gave his solicitor details,had his mortgage ready, all was fine ( so we thought) We met the executors of the previous owner and was told it had been sold to an equity company at a much lower price. She explained that my son's offer was never shared with her and that she would have accepted it. It is disgusting the way that Julia has treated my son, and strung him along. Best advice is for no one to deal with this unprofessional set up, although I have noticed not many people in Balham sell through them. It only seems to be garages or Du cane court. I will be contacting the estate agents ombudsman about this situation 1st thing. Do not waste time with this outfit. There are some fantastic friendly professional agents in Balham and Tooting Bec. I am shocked that there are still some questionable agents around.

2nd Sep 2021 (5 years ago)Marie went more than the extra mile in ensuring a successful sale. Despite many twists and turns before the sale was complete she met every challenge professionally and rapidly. Couldn't have asked more or got better anywhere else.

A special thanks to Geniene Tuit for always being responsive, answering all our questions and managing everything so professionally and efficiently. Thanks also to Ben Welch for his kindness when visiting our home to take the photographs, and to Matthew Summerfield for managing the sale of the property. We really appreciated everyone’s help and would happily recommend Blake Stanley for their professional and friendly service.

8th Aug 2026 (13 weeks ago)I would select minus zero stars if that were an option.<br>My experience with this property and the people responsible for managing it was extremely disturbing. I experienced serious concerns regarding privacy, security, access to my accommodation, and the treatment of tenants. I also raised concerns about behaviour that I considered completely unacceptable, and I found the responses from those responsible deeply unsatisfactory.<br>I have personally encountered issues that left me feeling unsafe and unable to trust that my accommodation and belongings were being properly respected. I also have concerns about the way tenant information, mail and personal privacy were handled.<br>There were also serious disputes concerning the condition and management of the properties and the handling of deposits. I have retained documentation relating to my experiences and have reported matters to the appropriate authorities where I believed it was necessary.<br>What makes this particularly frustrating is the apparent lack of accountability. In my experience, complaints were not dealt with in a way that gave me any confidence that tenants' legitimate concerns were being taken seriously.<br>I strongly recommend that anyone considering renting through these people carries out extensive independent checks, gets everything in writing, documents the condition of the property, and keeps records of every interaction. Based on my own experience, I would not recommend them.<br>Do your due diligence before handing over money or personal information.

I have many properties where i was having problems with tenants, receiving rent and many other issues. But Heaven Estate agents helped me a lot and has made the whole renting out properties a stress free process. The team is great at communicating with any issues or any problems that may need fixing within the properties. Would recommend if you would like a stress free experience.

18th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)Outstanding service from Diamond and the team at Lion Wolf I cannot recommend Lion Wolf highly enough, and in particular I want to recognise Diamond, who was absolutely exceptional throughout the sale of our mother’s property. This was not a straightforward sale. It was a complex probate transaction, involving a number of additional requirements and, ultimately, a lengthy process before we were finally able to complete. Throughout all of this, Diamond remained incredibly professional, patient, proactive and committed to getting the sale over the line. What really stood out was the communication. Diamond was always available when we needed him, answered his phone, returned calls and responded to emails quickly. Even when there were delays and complications outside of his control, he kept us informed, chased the relevant people and continually pushed the transaction forward. We never felt that we were left wondering what was happening. He went far beyond what I would normally expect from an estate agent. He took genuine ownership of the process, kept communication going between the different parties and was always prepared to step in and chase things when progress was slowing down. Selling a family home following a bereavement is never easy, and having someone as professional, approachable and reliable as Diamond handling the sale made a significant difference. He understood the circumstances, dealt with everything sensitively and professionally, and remained completely focused on achieving the completion. Even when the sale became particularly challenging towards the end, Diamond continued to work extremely hard to keep everyone moving in the right direction. His level of commitment and communication throughout the entire process was hugely appreciated by all of us. Diamond is a credit to Lion Wolf. His professionalism, responsiveness, determination and personal approach are exactly what you want from an estate agent, particularly when dealing with a complicated sale. If you are considering selling a property, I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Lion Wolf and especially Diamond. We have dealt with a number of estate agents over the years, and the level of service we received here really stood out. Thank you, Diamond, for everything you did to get us through the process and finally over the line. It was genuinely appreciated. Highly recommended.
