2nd Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)We bought our house with Romans in Fleet in July 2025, after almost two years of searching and working with several agencies in different areas. Once we decided to focus on Fleet, Romans truly stood out. Special thanks to Charlie and Matthew, who were outstanding throughout the process. Communication was fast and proactive, and their support during negotiations was excellent. Thanks to their efforts, we achieved a very good price reduction, which played a key role in making the purchase happen. They were also very helpful in arranging multiple viewings to suit our needs. The only area that could be improved is the move manager role. Unfortunately, this part of the process was more stressful than helpful. Communication around completion and moving day (keys, meeting point, and next steps) was unclear and came very late, which caused unnecessary confusion. At such a critical stage, clearer guidance and better coordination would make a big difference. That said, the Romans Fleet team stepped in to resolve the issues, and overall it was a genuinely positive experience. They helped facilitate the process for both buyer and seller, avoided unnecessary obstacles, and handled negotiations in a friendly, positive, and professional way. After some very poor experiences with other agencies in Fleet, I can confidently say that Romans Fleet is one of the best agencies in the area, and I would happily recommend them.

They had kept everyone informed and calm, and giving the impression nothing has been too much bother. We definitely would not have got to this point without their support and assistance from the valuation originally right through to completion. Thank you for your consideration, compassion, and expertise at every step.

He was always prompt in responding to any queries, attentive throughout the entire process, and kept me fully informed every step of the way. His knowledge and professionalism gave me complete confidence, and he worked tirelessly to secure me an excellent re-mortgage deal. On top of that, he also found me a fantastic insurance package, saving me both time and money.<br><br>Equally deserving of praise is Alessia Mazzanti-Lee, who expertly managed the tracking and completion of my re-mortgage. Alessia was proactive, regularly checking in, keeping me updated, and chasing matters whenever necessary to ensure everything progressed smoothly and on time.<br><br>The level of service provided by both Sam and Alessia has been truly first class. They are very prepared and very knowledgable on the properties they are marketing (Viv, who is excellent). Also they really do know their market and local area. Have a lot of confidence that Hellards will find the house of our dreams!

Office staff are difficult to achieve telephone responses/call backs & after sales service needs improvement as does the accuracy of the information they provide you with when administering a long-winded exchange. Fee's were better than others & at the end of the day, they achieved two buyers for us as the first fell through due to a break in the chain - proof is in the pudding as they say! Would use again but keep more of an eye on the detail & not sit back believing its being monitored.

Very knowledgeable on the property and clearly had a great relationship with the owner. Clearly cared about what she was showing as she took us room by room with explanations of everything and saved the show stopping points of the property till last. Super friendly and easy to chat too as well as friendly and funny. I love the fact that she cared about the seller and the home she was selling for said seller as there was a high degree of trust as well as respect for the property, which is rare to find. Anita is a credit to her company, we really had a lovely visit, so thank you so much Anita for everything.
