14th Sep 2026 (3 days ago)If you have a property to let out, do not use these Estate Agents. I have been trying to get them to pay out for the damages that was caused when the tenant moved out. They let out my home on a "no deposit basis" and then took out insufficient insurance to pay out for significant damages. That was 4 months ago and I still haven't been able to move back home!

I, by chance, was already in the area - she was able to fit me in immediately that afternoon, and was incredibly helpful and detailed during the viewing. She even tolerated my meandering ramblings! I ended up putting an offer in on said flat, and Skylar kept me up to date on the current state of things, what the next steps would be, and what information was required. 10th Sep 2026 (7 days ago)We bought our current property through Chambers Estate Agents 10 years ago and were so impressed with the service we received, we decided to sell the property through them. We were not disappointed, they suggested a good price for our property and unlike some other estate agents they secured it. The communication during the sale has been excellent and they have been proactive in managing our chain, which has been key in securing a positive outcome. We can not recommend them highly enough, big is not always better and the independents like Chambers can offer a more personal service. Thanks Richard to you and your team you provided an excellent service.
3rd Sep 2026 (14 days ago)Pearsons helped me sell my elderly uncle’s bungalow in Romsey when he went to a care home. I was living 2 hours away and they made the whole process so easy for me. They checked the empty house once a week, organised a plumber when there was a leak and organised house clearance and a deep clean before completion. At times I also felt like they were doing the job of our overpriced solicitors! I really cannot recommend them highly enough. A special mention to Karin who was so kind and helpful to me through this whole process.

15th Sep 2026 (2 days ago)Agents who conduct the viewings are engaging, thorough , personable & keen. Office staff are difficult to achieve telephone responses/call backs & after sales service needs improvement as does the accuracy of the information they provide you with when administering a long-winded exchange. Fee's were better than others & at the end of the day, they achieved two buyers for us as the first fell through due to a break in the chain - proof is in the pudding as they say! Would use again but keep more of an eye on the detail & not sit back believing its being monitored.
3rd Jul 2026 (11 weeks ago)I would avoid these estate agents. Their customer service is fine, but unfortunately they work with misleading developers. Likely, you will end up losing money on your property and with a lot of unnecessary stress if you use them for a new build. We bought a new build through them about 3 years ago. To this date, the developer they have been representing has not finished our road, landscaping, or snagging. And this is after chasers and legal action. This has already been addressed with Waterfords at the time, so they are well aware, and we understand that it is not their responsibility to fulfil the developer's duties. However, what I did not expect is that whilst they well know that the said developer (Downton Homes) misleads buyers, Waterfords will continue advertising and selling their properties (having just sold a full new development for them in Ewshot). I guess money talks! But also says a lot about the ethics of this organisation called Waterfords. I would not deal with a business with such ethics, let alone use them to purchase a new build, and moreso if it is produced by Downton Homes.

My case worker, Lisa, was exceptional from start to finish. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, patient, and always happy to explain everything in a way that I could understand. No question ever felt too small, and she always responded quickly, giving me complete confidence throughout the purchase.<br><br>What really stood out was the teamwork. Whenever someone was out of the office, my case never felt like it was put on hold. Maria and Anna (who are both also brilliant) would seamlessly step in, keeping everything moving and ensuring I was always kept informed. That level of communication and dedication made a huge difference.<br><br>I genuinely can't recommend Marina & Hampshire Life Homes highly enough. Molly and the team there were exellent throughout the process from viewing, offer negotiating and driving through the conveyancing and completion. Communication was excellent and we were always kept up to date on where their clients were at and chasing up solicitors. Thank you for a smooth purchase!
