22nd May 2024 (2 years ago)Absolute shocking service which resulting in me losing alot of money. No communication, no updates, they over value a property to get you on board and then you have to keep reducing the price because they cannot sell it. 2 years to sell a property during a time when all houses were flying off the shelves! Anything associated with Duckworths, I would stay well away unless you want to lose money. They don't care and it shows in their service.

9th Oct 2026 (21 days ago)I've used County now as both a buyer and a seller, and both experiences have been truly exceptional.<br><br>As a buyer, I felt consistently informed, communication was excellent and, unlike my experiences with rival firms, who I found had a slightly 'unique' approach to speaking to customers, County's staff, particularly Janine, were really friendly and helpful. My experience as a buyer is why I selected them as a seller.<br><br>As a seller, things were even better. On the first phone call, the staff at County remembered the property, despite having sold it a couple of years ago. That really showed me that they didn't just view each sale as another number on a spreadsheet - they really do care about each one. I felt that County were really excited about the property, which made them the best possible sales people for it.<br><br>We then had Emma come round very promptly to take some amazing pictures which really made it stand out on the listing sites. Before long, we had viewings, which were all very well organised by Rick, and many of them were attended by Mark, who was knowledgeable about the property but allowed the viewers to look at things in their own time.<br><br>Before long, offers came in, and Lisa guided me through the process of accepting one.<br><br>All in all, I really couldn't ask for a better estate agents, and would whole-heartedly recommend them. I've mentioned the staff members I had interactions with personally, but to the whole team - thank you very much for everything you did!

24th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)??????????<br><br>Exceptional Service from Lisa, Martin and the Crown Estate Agents Team<br><br>We would like to express our sincere thanks to Ms Lisa, Mr Martin and the entire team at Crown Estate Agents in Blackburn for their truly exceptional service.<br><br>From the very first day, every email, WhatsApp message and telephone call was answered promptly and professionally. The level of communication provided by everyone at Crown Estate Agents was outstanding throughout the entire transaction.<br><br>We are especially grateful to Lisa. The purchase became extremely complicated because of three outstanding charges registered against the property, which caused the transaction to become stuck. Lisa went far beyond what would normally be expected from an estate agent. She contacted the third-party solicitors, communicated with the bank’s solicitors and gathered information from the relevant authorities, including HM Land Registry, to help everyone understand how the matter could legally be resolved.<br><br>Lisa guided all the parties, followed up continuously and obtained updates every day. She made sure that important information was shared promptly between the seller, solicitors, bank and buyer. Her persistence, professionalism and determination played a major part in getting the charges removed, clearing the title and bringing the transaction to a successful completion.<br><br>Without Lisa’s hard work and constant involvement, it would have been extremely difficult to clear the title and complete this purchase. She did not treat this as simply another property sale; she took genuine responsibility for helping to resolve every obstacle.<br><br>Mr Martin and the other Crown Estate Agents staff were also extremely helpful, responsive and professional from beginning to end. Their teamwork and customer service were of the highest standard.<br><br>We are incredibly thankful to Lisa, Martin and the entire Crown Estate Agents team. They are honest, reliable, knowledgeable and genuinely committed to their clients. 27th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)There were several issues. Initially we decided to have accompanied viewing. Our first 2 viewings were only 15 minutes apart which resulted in both sets of viewers here together! We cancelled accompanied viewings but on 2 further occasions viewers told us that their viewings had been put forward at least a week due to "shortage of staff". On the last viewing- just before our contract finished- we had a call from FH asking if we still required accompanied viewing-a matter we had cancelled 5 months before! When the viewers arrived they told us they had tried to view about 3 weeks earlier but were told no-one was available!
2nd Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)I will never try and buy a house advertised by this estate agent ever again. Excuse after excuse, delay after delay. 4 months of being messed about and we still can’t get a moving date, so we’ve walked away. Absolutely massive waste of time.<br><br>Excuses include (and I have email screenshots ready if they reply to this review trying to deny it):<br><br>- We don’t want to chase the seller’s solicitor because they get grumpy when we do that – well I’m sorry but I need you to put your big girl pants on and deal with it like a professional.<br><br>- The vendor is rubbish at admin – yes that was actually an excuse - quite happy to throw their own clients under the bus.<br><br>Amongst so many other pathetic excuses. It was never their fault, always somebody else’s. Do not waste your time with this company.
21st Oct 2026 (9 days ago)So far as selling houses go I was immediately convinced that Curtis Law Estate Agents was the company to instruct to sell my property. From meeting the Estate Agent at the valuation stage. There enthusiasm and knowledge of the area convinced me it was the right choice to work with them.<br>Especially good communication on a weekly basis gave me the confidence that I was in good hands.<br>I developed a good working relationship with Dannielle the branch Manager.<br>Safe to say it was really seamless process and affordable charges allowed me not to worry about a thing.<br>I was that impressed by the professionalism of all the staff, that I instructed Curtis Law to do the conveyancing for me as well.<br>All round good experience.
