11th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience. After five years, I expected honesty, professionalism and clear communication. Instead, I received contradictory information about our money and experienced unacceptable treatment over the phone. Sadly, I cannot recommend this company.

He couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating; we had numerous surveyors, architects etc visiting the property and every time he was polite and generous with his time. Thanks James, so nice to deal with a “real” estate agent. A proper gent.
17th Jul 2026 (15 weeks ago)David Andrew Estates on Highbury Park have been fully managing two properties for me for over 30 years. I cannot think of a greater testament for their services than that both properties have been let 99% of the time to tenants who have looked after the property and paid their rent on time every single month. Thank you to Philip, Francois and John and the team. I highly recommend these people and this company to both landlords and tenants.

She brought warmth and a personal touch to the process, and we always felt she genuinely cared about us and our move.<br><br>Even after the sale, she checked in to see how we were settling in and offered to help with anything we needed, which we really appreciated.<br><br>A special shout-out to Nadim too, who was always available on the phone to answer our queries and offer helpful suggestions—even about properties that weren’t being sold through Ellis & Co. Where do I even start … I first chanced upon Hugh F Shaw and team when I was looking for a rental in the Marylebone area, ended up being their tenant for 3 years and have just bought my first property through them so it truly feels like a full circle moment! Marc, Gary and Irvine have been truly incredible throughout - renting (and now buying) through them was extremely smooth and they are always super kind, attentive, responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend their services and would definitely give the maximum stars I could for the excellent service ?????????? And once again thank you all for your help throughout this whole time!

Lucy showed us a number of properties today and her excellent advise, professionalism and expertise helped us secure a lovely new apartment. I would highly recommend Lucy and Becker and Co to anyone looking for an apartment to rent. We cant wait to move in later this month!

1st Oct 2026 (4 weeks ago)Extremely unpleasant lady on the phone. I phoned for assistance or guidance because the second leaf of the door in my building wouldn’t unlock for the delivery of a big item. Her tone quickly turned annoyed despite my best attempts to explain the issue, treating me like an idiot who can’t use my fob when the matter I raised had absolutely nothing to do with it.<br>She then grumbled that the office is closing soon (which is a fair point but it isn’t like I had any control on the time of the delivery when it occurred). She ended up telling me to raise a complaint the next morning and hung up without even a goodbye.<br>I appreciate that as the reception/admin person, she cannot provide assistance but it is her unprofessional attitude and rude tone that are simply not acceptable.

28th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)I was a tenant on one of their properties for five years and i have much to say about this agency. The women working there are the most bullish people you can ever deal with. During the years I have had some issues with the flat and their time to solve most of them it was looong. They don’t like to pay for the property problems and they come every 6 months to judge you how you keep the place. It takes a lot of cruelty to judge a new mother who just gave birth, on how clean the place is. I have paid for every mould product during the years even that by law it’s the agency/landlords who need to deal with the mould issues. The way they handled the moving out was so stressful. They put all sorts of justifications not to give me my deposit. After three months finally got what was left from it as they charged me for cleaning and dumping the furniture I had left(without any invoices). If you are someone who doesn’t know the laws , trust me this agency will try and get as much money as they can from you. I know that this review it’s not going to be received well , but it was well deserved for this agency. I DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!

29th May 2025 (1 year ago)We rented a great property through Bennett Mason for over four years. Alex was an excellent agent - always responsive, respectful and straightforward to deal with. Any issues we had were sorted quickly and fairly. Would recommend to anyone looking to rent in the area.

12th Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)During my viewing with Mr Soobh, I felt uncomfortable due to comments about my choice of clothing and inappropriate remarks regarding bedroom size. The whole experience felt unprofessional. I was referred by a neighbour who secured a property late last year, so I expected better, especially given the type of properties involved. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend, and I wouldn’t advise any woman to attend a viewing alone.
