We have always received an excellent service for many years from the lettings department and from Jennifer Wratten in particular who has been working for many years from this branch and is a great honest person to deal with and George the new Manager who we have got to know very well over the past year.

If I could give a lower rating I would. The estate agency guaranteed a moving date which was not met despite their persistent assurance that it was all going to be on time. This meant we had nowhere to live for a couple of days and that we had to store all of our stuff in their office and arrange another removal van. To add to this, when we looked to rent out our place two occasions they didn't turn up for a viewing with no explanation what so ever. **In response to the message below from Dexters** In keeping with the incompetence demonstrated thus far, the local director has failed to get in contact with me. Once again, avoid at all cost.

One of the best experiences I have had with a letting agent. Lizzie was our point of contact. She was charming and professional from start to finish making the whole letting process unusually smooth and trouble free. Would highly recommend KFH Crouch End especially Lizzie.

Absolutely Appalling. I would strongly advise anyone thinking of using this agency to reconsider. The agent who was in charge of our letting was James. When showing us round he promised many things such as the re-grouting of a bathroom and a professional clean before we moved in. After you have paid he completely denies he ever said these things and says you agreed to the flat ‘As seen’. A phrase which he so rigidly stuck to we expect to move in with him in the lounge as this was technically ‘As seen’. When we were handed the sets of keys, some of which did not even work, we went to take a look at the flat. The professional clean had undoubtedly never happened. There was half eaten food in the fridge, rubbish under the beds and even ash in the ashtrays. Also despite insisting the flat was ‘As seen’ some of the nicer items of furniture had been removed. When we tried to ring James explaining this, coincidentally for the next few days whenever we rang we would be told ‘he is out on a viewing’, ‘he is out the back’, ‘he has just had to dash out of the office’ and our favourite - ‘he is on the toilet’. None of us have been able to get through to him despite calling on so many various occasions. Seeing as James had apparently disappeared of the face of the earth the only suggestion they had was to call the landlady directly. Which makes you wonder what on earth the extortionate agency fees you pay are for, when I asked this I was informed that they do not manage the properties so I genuinely am at a loss as to what that charge is for. The service was terrible, the communication with our agent close to non-existent. I cannot stress how much we would advise against using these agents for lettings.

I am renting a room in property managed by KFH for 7 months. For 2 of these months I have not have a door on my bedroom as it came off its hinges and KFH have been glacial in replacing it, despite frequent reminders and requests for updates. We are still waiting for confirmation of when this will be replaced. Additionally, the washing machine regularly (70-80%) stops midway through the cycle and has to be restarted. KFH have said that since it technically still functions they have refused to fix/replace it. They don't deal well with the upkeep of the property.

I was scammed by Ellis & Co in Golders Green back in 2009. I signed a year contract for renting of 2 bed flat on Ballards Lane, paid the agency fees, deposit etc. 3 weeks later, 4 days before move in date, Ellis & Co said the landlady decided not to let her flat anymore, so I'll be given the deposit back, but the agency fees, that were nearly £200 will not be refunded as the agency did their job. Later on, talking with agents from other real estate agencies, I realised that what Ellis and co did was illegal. Disgusting experience.

Anthony took over the sale halfway through the process due to the previous agent changing companies. Despite this he was very helpful and made the whole process very pleasant and straightforward. Anthony was always available to show me around the property several times during the process which proved to be very useful. Overall a great experience and I'd happily use Foxton's again.

What a joke of a “property management company”. We dealt with their lack of professionalism for 6 month and that was enough. We were tenant and they will gladly tell you that full management of the flat, which means according to them that we won’t need to interact with the landlord (which was oversea) and that everything will be sorted smoothly. Obviously, it’s a lie, as they don’t take any decision without the landlord confirmation (easy when the landlord is oversea…). Then, we entered the flat which was in poor condition: not their fault apparently, the previous tenant didn’t let them access the flat and they couldn’t check the flat as an emergency cleaning was happening and the inventory as well. We had our boxes delivery planned, couldn’t enter the flat, but they keep the full rent and the full. It was the landlord responsibility apparently (the one oversea?). And we discovered at the same time, that when the agent said “every furniture you see is staying” while we visited the occupied flat included the content of the chest of drawers and the books on the shelves. She never mentioned they were the landlord’s goods. Finally, we were imposed to leave before midday but still had to pay the full rent (remember we paid for the full day loss at the beginning)… We raised the complaint through the process and dear Bruce Middleton forgot to let us know he was on annual leave, which means he will answer them only after his time off – and after we vacate the property – and eventually covered his team with more lies. I’m looking forward to reading the inventory report of the flat we left in better condition than when we entered… If you are looking for a caricature of a real estate (with all the trouble you can imagine), sign up with them. Good riddance
