7th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Tried to rent a property, but the Lettings Negotiator was unable to prepare the Tenancy Agreement in a timely manner, and even then expected us to give notice on our current tenancy before signing the new tenancy agreement with them. After missing the first cut-off date that we told them we would need to sign the tenancy agreement by, they then had another 4 weeks to prepare the tenancy agreement, but were once again unable to do so in a timely manner. The Lettings Negotiator blamed this on the landlord not replying to her emails. Did you not think to phone and find out an answer over the phone? The result is our tenancy application was declined. What an absolute waste of time this was. Thankfully, I have obtained details of the landlord and will be advising her of the true reasons for the continuous delays in this process that ultimately led to our applicaton being declined.<br><br>They use Homelet to run the reference checks, which took over 2 weeks to complete. This was also part of the delay. If you are self-employed or Homelet have to complete any manual human checks, then expect long delays. I sent multiple messages to Homelet and made multiple phone calls, but they did not reply to any of my messages. This is a service chosen by Robinsons, therefore Robinsons has to accept responsibility of the fact that Homelet is a very poor and slow service. I will never use any estate agents that uses the Homelet service in the future.

The whole team were professional, friendly and helpful throughout, with excellent communication at every stage. We were always kept updated, which made the whole process feel straightforward and as stress-free as possible. The marketing of the property was also excellent. The photographs were high quality and really captured the property at its best. A special mention to Sarah Hill, who was my designated agent throughout the process. Sarah was fantastic — knowledgeable, supportive and reassuring, and always available whenever I had a question or needed help. Her guidance and attention to detail made a real difference, and I always felt I was in safe hands. I would definitely recommend Peter Heron to anyone looking to sell their property, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

My appreciation goes to Scott who met me at my property and gave a very informative overview of the rental market and knowledge of the local area and also Lindsey from the Sarah Mains office who provided me with informative updates regarding the viewings and tenant. 3rd Sep 2026 (11 days ago)1 Star was too generous. Ignore the good reviews. Appalling service. Clearly short staffed as it's a real struggle to get through on the phone and when you do, you are greeted by staff who must be the most unhelpful and unpleasant people to deal with. No rapport, no engagement, no flexibility and no interest. Open every Saturday AM apart from Bank Holidays, as they close on the Saturday and the Monday. Zero effort from the sales team to nurture an enquiry into a sale. Clearly there must be easier sales to be had.
2nd Sep 2026 (12 days ago)Really recommend Next2Buy, it was quick and easy to get the house on the market and it sold within 10 days after around 15 viewings. Unfortunately, things beyond our control meant the sale took over eight months, but Next2Buy were there at every step, helping us through the stress. A special mention for Wendy who spoke to me every week with updates and helped us through a very stressful few months! Thank you Next2Buy!

Everyone I’ve dealt with has been friendly, approachable and genuinely helpful, and you always feel like you’re speaking to someone who actually cares rather than just being another customer.<br><br>Communication has been great throughout, with questions answered quickly and everything explained clearly. Unfortunately, it was not suitable but Hillary did her best to point out the many fantastic reasons for buying the home and also praised the area - all without putting any pressure on me. Demi and the team guided us through the whole house selling process in a professional, but more importantly friendly way. 22nd Aug 2026 (23 days ago)I was a bit apprehensive about selling the property as it was my late Parents house but I could my fault J H Homes, the service was excellent. From the outset they made you feel valued the advice they gave using local knowledge meant that we achieved a sale at a price in excess of what the other two agents we had approached had suggested marketing the property at. They even found a buyer before it went in the open market by using their local contacts.

The communication was strong throughout the process , including gathering helpful feedback from potential buyers and liasing with surveyors.
