26th Apr 2026 (9 days ago)I am assisting my son in buying his first property and having enlisted with several agents only William from Douglas Allen has made the effort to actively contact me about possible properties and follow up on leads. His service and attention to detail were second to none and his friendly approach made me feel comfortable. Through his hard work we have managed to secure a property on the first weekend of viewings. Here’s hoping the transaction goes through but I am confident that if it doesn’t he will quickly be back on the case. I would have no hesitation in using his services to sell my property when the time comes.

24th Apr 2026 (11 days ago)I was working 3rd party with a lady that has purchased a property from Gower Dawes estate agent in chadwell-st-Mary. I cannot praise Jo enough, she went above and beyond, and I mean above and beyond. I would not go anywhere else to sell or purchase a property. We had a few problems along the way, but Jo was onto them non stop, along with the solicitors. I would like to thank you for being so persistent, yet reassuring all the way and helping me guide my sister-in-law through the whole process. The best people to deal with, whilst getting the reassurance you need at a time of stress and worry.

19th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)Everytime I enquire about a property for sell this agent is advertising. The first question they ask is 'Do you have a property for sell'. They take all your personal details and at the end don't give a date for viewing. This happened on several occasions, I have now stopped enquiring. I believe this is a fishing tactic to get peoples information and if they can find a person who is looking to sell. I would not ever buy or sell a property through them.

28th Feb 2020 (6 years ago)ARQ Homes Estate Agent was recommended to me to get a lettings valuation's appraisal for my house. Also, following the reading of good reviews from other people, I was confident and encouraged to make an appointment with ARQ Homes. I spoke with Abdul who invited me to his office, and made feel more than just a client, I felt like a guest in his ARQ estate agent. Abdul was very clear and concise covering all the details in order to give me an honest an accurate valuation appraisal. Abdul also used his valuable experience and knowledge in the housing market, in order to give me a good advice how to proceed with my plan for both potential lettings and sales of my property. Abdul's advice has definitely put me on the the right directions in order to achieve the best possible outcome in relation to my property. 1st May 2026 (4 days ago)I come home to find my garden gate broken. They came onto my property without permission. Worked on the neighbours house upstairs setup scaffolding and took it down. The agent should have contacted me if they need access. Really frustrated as i come back home from work to find my property damaged. You cannot come onto my land or property without permission. Their phone lines closed so i now have to go through the night with entry points for thieves to access my property property

18th Apr 2026 (17 days ago)We completed on the sale of our property last week , Victoria and Tom we’re very helps and kept me up to date during the entire transaction , even tho the Solictors were terrible with updating Victoria updates us weekly.

13th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)I got the viewing with this company with representative Hannah. Property in South Ockendon. During the viewing I confirmed that I will rent this property, it is fully satisfied us. On Monday at 15:00 LT Hannah called me and accept offer. I spoke to her that I need confirmation by e-mail and inform previous landlord the date of termination of contract and ask when is better for their landlord to move in. Simply remain small details which intake 30-40 minutes to negotiate. I terminate the contract with previous landlord because this letting agent confirmed me this property. Call Hannah after 30 minutes, about 15:30 , nobody replied in their office. Then he sent me the message that landlord choose another tenant. Absolutely not reliable and acting dishonestly, not fair, irresponsible including this landlord. Probably tenant need to additional information and at least get confirmation officially by e-mail? I don't recommend this company for further business. We are from Ukraine and we don't have such lawlessness like here. Absolutely negative and not reliable company. Waste my time and money for fuel.

14th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)We haven't had to go through the nightmare of moving house for over forty years but we survived the emotional roller coaster this time round thanks to Stanton Hockett. Not easy for two eighty year olds I must admit who simply want to go live near their daughter up north! We approached the move with trepidation but their approach from the outset was totally re-assuring and empathetic. Tom started the ball rolling with his no fuss approach and we then graduated to the big guns, Brad & Gavin, after they found us a young couple to buy our treasured family home. They might have been a dating agency so suited to us were our young buyers. As apparently often occurs our journey through the legal processes to exchange and completion took us between peaks of elation to valleys of frustrated despair and back again but they were there to support us when we needed it. Thank you Tom and Lewis, thank you Gavin and most of all thank you Brad for your impeccable service to us in the sales progression stage. We are on our way now and feeling a whole lot better about our future.

The whole process was handled professionally and efficiently from start to finish. They made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward. I really appreciate the effort and care you all put in. Highly recommended!
14th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)They sold a property (our next door) they left the signage right next to our car - it was clearly not installed properly - it fell over and damaged the paint on our car. We did speak to them and they passed us to the signage company - both companies are not happy to cover the cost of damages or provide insurance details for us to recoup our loss. They do not respond to our emails. Not very ethical company.

Communication was excellent throughout, and any issues on any side of the chain were dealt with quickly, calmly and effectively. Moving home is often described as one of life’s most stressful experiences, but Stewart genuinely took the stress out of it for us. It was a real pleasure to work with someone so professional, proactive and reassuring — we always felt confident knowing everything was in safe hands and that Stewart had complete command over proceedings.
