As a Landlord I have received very poor service from this Branch.
On July 9th 2014 Haart Slough took an existing tenant to court on my behalf without my prior consent due to 32 days payment arrears; giving me 1 week notice to appear in court on July 16th although I was abroad. Since I could not attend, I had to pay a £420.00 for someone from the agency to accompany my solicitors and confirm the amount owed.
The tenants were ordered to vacate on July 30th by the court, on August 21st after me having to chase Haart for a status report, they replied on Aug 28th confirming they had the keys.
On Aug 4th I requested a close-out statement for the old tenants, to include Inventory-check out, dilapidation costs for work that needed to be carried out, and information about the deposit to submit a claim to my Landlord Insurance. After many email follow ups, they informed me on Sept 1st the property needed work to be re-let; but still no details of inventory or statement close-out.
To date on Oct 1st I still do not have any closure of the situation despite writing and escalating to the Branch Manager and central Haart Property management teams.
I am still trying to close this out directly with them because they are holding onto the Inventory check-out, Repair Invoices and Rent Statements, but will be taking this soon to the Property Ombudsman and ARLA as I am currently unable to close this out, and submit my claim to my insurance company.
There are no words to describe the way we received all the help.We are more than pleasant to rate the highest mark for the agency and agent.He was always very respectful and responsible for delivering all the answers we needed.Thank you Stuart and Connells.Be always like that!
Absolute shocking service and wonder how the landlords are asking these estate agents to sell their properties. We were booked a viewing at 3.15pm and at 3.14pm we receive a call (when we are standing at the property) from them asking not to attend the viewing as the tenant is away! When asked why they couldn't inform earlier then the reason was that Imran (the person showing us the property) was not in office?! Was he the only person in office?! Whats the point of having mobile phones we ask! We had to chase the estate agent 3 times just to get the property address in the first place. Worse outcome was that within 3 days the property is sold without we given an opportunity to view the property! Dreadful customer service and estate agents.

Not to use them brother I would recommend anyone... high turnover of staff customer suffers with their mismanagement. Costing me more than half of my security deposit because of their poor communication ...dealing with them is absolute waste of time and money....and if you want to escalate the problem manager Tim Halls doesn't want to let it go further it is his way or high way
My house had been on the market with two other estate agents for a few months, they were unsuccessful in marketing my property. Within 2 days of having my house marketed with Staple and King my property went under offer, the sale has gone through within 7 weeks.

Having come from a bad experience with Purple Bricks, I decided to go back to the High Street by using Chancellors to sell my 2 bedroom apt in Slough. As soon as I walked into the office I knew that these were the people to sell it for me. Can't fault them, worked hard to sell the apt, kept me informed of the progress throughout which works for me.
Well done Slough branch, I will no doubt use them again in the future.
