With a track record of poor behaviours, it comes as no surprise that Knight Frank recently breached the 2007 planning regulations governing the conduct of estate and lettings agents. All agents are aware of these regulations, as a failure to comply with them constitutes a criminal offence. With the sole exception of Knight Frank, the estate and lettings agents in Beaconsfield are in compliance. Presumably Knight Frank think they are above the law. Would you really want this outfit to act on your behalf? We have engaged with the local authority, local councillors and council leader about the ongoing poor – and in this case, criminal – behaviours of Knight Frank. This issue is new and has not been addressed by Knight Frank; their response does not make any sense. The following was posted at an earlier date: Despite many requests not to, Knight Frank staff and agents continued parking on our private driveway, thereby blocking access to properties on our estate. Such “me first” behaviour contrasts starkly with the considerate nature of the people who live here. We ended up having to notify the police about harassment and a member of staff from Knight Frank has been permanently excluded. Cached web pages show that the property Knight Frank manages was advertised to let for nearly 5 months, in which time the rate was dropped until finally it was advertised as under offer. The tenants who eventually moved in must have been delighted at having bagged a bargain. At the same time, new tenants moved into an identical property just over 2 weeks after it was put on the market by another agent at more than 8% above the rate last advertised by Knight Frank. Since then another identical property has been let in less than 3 weeks. What does this say about Knight Frank’s marketing capability? Earlier this year we had to ask the owner of the property to pay the annual maintenance charge, as Knight Frank had not done so. We deal with 3 other agents in Beaconsfield; in our view they are head, shoulders and knees above Knight Frank.

Right from the valuation stage, Harry has shown great professionalism and knowledge about the property market. Harry initially advised us on an approach with regards to our properties, and once instructed had almost 10 viewings within the first 2 weeks. Working with myself and potential buyers, we secured an acceptable offer within 4 weeks of listing our property. We sold two properties with Connells and with their market knowledge, managed to sell both at favourable prices. A hassle free and excellent service all round. I would highly recommend the Connells Group & Harry.

Absolute shocking service and wonder how the landlords are asking these estate agents to sell their properties. We were booked a viewing at 3.15pm and at 3.14pm we receive a call (when we are standing at the property) from them asking not to attend the viewing as the tenant is away! When asked why they couldn't inform earlier then the reason was that Imran (the person showing us the property) was not in office?! Was he the only person in office?! Whats the point of having mobile phones we ask! We had to chase the estate agent 3 times just to get the property address in the first place. Worse outcome was that within 3 days the property is sold without we given an opportunity to view the property! Dreadful customer service and estate agents.

One of the most unprofessional companies I have ever come across. They made renting a house such a big hurdle and put me into a difficult situation whilst there is a pandemic going on. The reference company (VAN MILDERT) they are associated with is the worst referencing company. They have been been checking my references as if I am not renting a normal house but buying the queens palace or something. Firstly checking my references against a house I have not agreed upon. Calling my employer several times, head office etc. Even after obtaining all the necessary information required to pass my references they were not satisfied. Asked for my contract of employment which I provided them with. However the contract of employment did not meet up their expectations as if I make the contract myself. I thought ok I,ll get a letter from the HR confirming my salary, position etc. Got the letter, sent it through. Still not satisfied. Provided payslips but again they didn’t meet up to their ‘required’ expectations because of my payslip layout. The next thing they asked for is my bank statements to show my pay. Provided them my bank statements but somehow they weren’t ‘enough’. So I provided two reference letters from hr, payslips, contract of employment, bank statements and they also made a call to my employer. However despite all of this my references were not passed as the information was not enough to confirm I am working with my employer. They asked one thing after the other? Why not ask all of it together? At this moment my employer was surprised too. I would be surprised if anyone ever actually passed the references process. Moving on to frost employees. mr nick and mr Colin advised me to give my notice to my current landlord as they assured me my references will be passed. So I went ahead and did that. This had put me into a massive problem as apparently now my income is not enough for the property. I had clearly stated my income from the beginning of this whole process and the company had confirmed this is enough. I don’t understand if my income was not enough why carry on with the referencing checks if you had known this all along? I decided to meet the landlord and discuss this issue. The landlord had told me they had clearly informed frost they are not renting there property anymore, this was done a few days before my reference checks had began! So I was basically getting my references checked for absolutely no reason. If you don’t want any stress I would not recommend this company at any cost. I will now definitely be taking a legal action against this company as well as the referencing company as they have wasted my time, money and effort to gain references for no reason at all. Oh and given me free stress! Horrible company with rude, unprofessional employees. This is a long review to read but if you have come this far just know it wasn’t as long as my reference check procedure.
