10th Sep 2026 (15 days ago)I have purchased a flat with these estate agents, I arranged a viewing with luke, my son was unable to meet me at the property at the time, but I looked round asking questions etc, I found luke very pleasant and very helpful he made me feel comfortable in the property, I was quite interested but really wanted my son to view so luke went out of his way to accommodate another viewing for us, we wanted to put offer in and could only go to a maximum which was under the asking price, luke put my offer to the seller and managed to get the price I wanted, he was available through out to help me, after completion he called to say the keys were ready for me to collect.<br>When I arrived the staff were very polite and gave me a moving in card and a bottle of wine, and congratulations , very nice thank you, would totally recommend this estate agents .

They kept me informed at every stage and made everything smooth and stress-free. Their knowledge of the local market and willingness to help really stood out. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy estate agent in Plymouth!

5th Sep 2026 (20 days ago)Every time I use an estate agent I'm reminded of how rude and unprofessional these guys are. I suggest you use any other agent in the area as these agents made my life hell during my second year of university. Awful people and corrupt. Offered a friend a car parking space near the property in exchange for a good review. So please bare that in mind when looking through the reviews.

They were very keen to get me through the door but appalling at actually having any information as to what they are selling and that's even when they back to you! I was also hung up on when informing them they have wrong details for me... very strange behaviour, you'd think for their reputation of overvaluing they'd at least be keen to communicate with you!<br><br>As someone who quite literally does this as a job aswell i was appalled. The way they treated me differently to my father felt underlyingly sexist.
21st Sep 2025 (1 year ago)we are very happy with your move who secured a sale of our property in a difficult market,although a bit under our asking price they did try to get more for us but we are still happy with the outcome.excellent communication and totally professional at all times.- 3rd Sep 2026 (22 days ago)Very disappointing property management service.<br><br>I would not recommend Cubitt & West Lettings based on my experience as a landlord.<br><br>My main concerns are poor communication, lack of transparency and expenditure being deducted without my prior approval. Around £400 was deducted from my rental income for a replacement washing machine. I was later told that the replacement had been agreed by the previous owner before I purchased the property, but the cost was nevertheless deducted from my rental income without informing me or obtaining my approval.<br><br>When I asked for basic details about when it was approved, who authorised it and the relevant invoice/order information, I struggled to get a clear answer.<br><br>What concerns me most is not the £400 itself, but the lack of communication and accountability. I chose a fully managed service because I expected professional management and clear communication, but instead I have had to repeatedly chase them for answers.<br><br>I have now submitted a formal complaint, but the whole experience has seriously damaged my confidence and trust in their management service.<br><br>Landlords should think carefully before handing over management of their property to this company.

He has provided complete transparency, along with detailed knowledge drawing on his obvious extensive experience. He has ensured that he worked with me to achieve the best value for the property, and succeeded! It took around 8 weeks for the property to go on sale until sold. This actually on the lower end of the typical selling time for the area, so another point of success. I have been continuously updated throughout the entire process, and also responds very promptly to any emails I have sent. I also want to mention that for the services provided (photos and advertising etc), that the fee is a very fair price, and good value.
