21st Sep 2025 (8 mo. ago)The agents are dealing with a slow market for small flats in E14 so we are being patient. However, we wish they would answer emails consistently and be rather more proactive with marketing.
21st May 2026 (0 days ago)If I could rate 0 I would. We had the misfortune of our purchase being handover to Dominic in the new year. I can honestly say I’ve never been spoken to in such a condescending, rude and aggressive manner by anyone- let alone someone who stands to benefit from a substantial commission. Firstly our offer was accepted in October and despite chasing the property was left on the market visible on all platforms for 6 weeks after our offer was accepted. It wasn’t until December when the owner suddenly and unexpectedly passed away that it was taken down. This sort of behaviour screams dishonesty. His manager Sally whom I tried to escalate to, did nothing and didn’t even bother to reply to my emails. I was shouted at over the phone, called “little miss last minute.com” on 3 occasions during a single call, received the email below- which, I think paints the picture well enough. Dominic had little to no knowledge of probate process, demanded I forward rental contracts which Dexter’s had no involvement in, advised that our solictors should undertake the negotiations, did not communicate honestly with the sellers (after confirming in writing that he had). He was aware of completion day for 6 weeks- despite this he booked appointments for valuations and did not bother to tell anyone in the office that we were due to complete that day. Not only did we not receive a call from Dexters to say we’d completed (it came via solicitors hours later), we had to travel to the agency to collect a key. We arrived at the agency who had no idea we’d completed!! Not even a congratulations or email follow up to check everything went smoothly. To top that Dominic refused to share alarm codes stating “they are written inside”. Unfortunately no correct codes existed inside- so we couldn’t even get in without calling out the alarm company to disarm the system! No codes for the padlocks either. Not exactly how you expect to be treated by an estate agent, or his managers Sally who did nothing to resolve the situation when it was escalated to her. I certainly would never use Dexters services in the future and would advise the local community against using their company.

30th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)Rampton Baseley have been a total dream to work with. Selling your house is never without bumps but they’ve been so supportive every step of the way. We put our house up for sale in a pretty bad market but they didn’t give up and they found a us buyer. When our buyer’s sale collapsed and they had to pull out we ended up going back on the market and they quickly found us a new buyer that aligned with our timeline. Dean has been hugely helpful in comms between us and the buyer and getting the sale to exchange. To top it off the initial valuation they gave us on our house was spot on. They clearly know their market very well! Highly recommend them and all done with a grounded, non-salesy approach.

5th May 2026 (16 days ago)From the very first viewing to successfully exchanging contracts, Patterson Hawthorn and in particular David Howe made what can be a stressful process feel genuinely manageable. David was professional, responsive and consistently went above and beyond throughout the entire journey. Whether it was answering queries quickly, keeping communication clear between all parties, or helping navigate the inevitable challenges that come with any property purchase- he handled everything with patience and professionalism. As first time buyers, having an agent who was honest, reliable and genuinely invested in getting the deal over the line made an enormous difference. David never made us feel like just another transaction- he treated our purchase with the care and attention it deserved. We would not hesitate to recommend Patterson Hawthorn to anyone buying or selling in the Rainham area, and David Howe specifically is an absolute asset to the team. Thank you for everything- we cannot wait to get the keys!

They were always very helpful and made it easy for me living abroad as they resolved the tenants minor issues practically and helped me when there were bigger issues. Would highly recommend

Jamie and the team at Bracketts were brilliant and supportive throughout, and had it not been for them I don’t think we’d have ended up with the house we really wanted. Highly recommend Brackett’s Tonbridge.

As we moved from Germany to London for the first time, the process of searching for a home and completing all the necessary paperwork initially felt quite daunting. However, McMahon made the entire experience smooth and straightforward. Our agent, Serwan, conducted a detailed viewing via video call, shared all relevant information upfront, and guided us seamlessly through the contract process. We were particularly impressed with: 1) The thoroughness and professionalism of the paperwork and inventory check conducted by McMahon, which ensured fairness for both the landlord and the tenant. 2) The prompt resolution of minor issues in the property by Louise, the residential manager, who was highly responsive and efficient. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with both the property and the service provided by McMahon & Partners, and we would highly recommend them.

Each time we knew Charlsons had our best interests at heart. They acted with professionalism and good humour throughout. It was a good day for all when we completed. I heartily recommend their services.

So glad we choose Freeman and Gray to sell our house, the house was put on the market very quickly and efficiently as we had already found a property we wanted to buy. Photos taken placed online, Brillant images taken and videos. The house was sold within a few weeks, and the progress started getting further along quickly, not only did they do this , the excellent care and service we have received from the team especially Jason he is a absolute star ! He answered every question, phone calls , messages, and help and advice was shared from his amazing knowledge. He went way and beyond his role, He helped me and my buyer when we had issues , resolved everything is a efficient time frame, and reassured us and keep us positive along the way ! As we had a few ups and downs throughout the process, like most people as this not unusual. But he had answers and solutions to everything Jason was always reassuring,positive and always there no matter what the issue may of been. He made it all alot easier took the stressful part away , it can all very become overwhelming but he made sure the process run as smoothly as possible.
