The entire process was transparent and clear, with no grey areas. Having had a different experience with another agent in the past, I knew I would appreciate this. John not only spent a lot of time on the central aspects of the purchase, but also supported me with the preliminaries (e.g. finding the right insurance). Thanks also to the whole team. Highly recommended!

31st May 2026 (16 weeks ago)I selected Dexters as I had bought the flat from them 8 years ago in Charlton and was impressed by the service I received from Demie and Maria. However the staff has completely changed since and it feels like it’s run by not so experienced people. Lot of communication errors , not following up on time . Many times I got a feeling my flat was not the priority and weekly calls felt like “tick in the box” calls where it was clearly apparent the agent was multitasking raffling papers in background while having conversation. No single point of contact who is selling the flat, being passed around agent to agent. It was evident that the communication within the team wasn’t there which affected the sale . I would not recommend dexters .

14th May 2026 (19 weeks ago)Warning: Serious Misconduct and Potential Fraud I agreed a sale price with Amaal Mahmood Khan at Brian Thomas Estate Agents. During the process, he insisted on altering the agreed price on the official paperwork to a lower figure and taking the difference in cash. This would have cheated the property owner and is essentially mortgage/property fraud. Anyone considering instructing him to sell their property should be extremely cautious. Amaal tries to negotiate cash payments with buyer and does not tell seller real offer. In my case he lied to the seller about the amount i offered and if i had gone ahead the seller would have lost out on thousands of pounds that Amaal was demanding to receive in cash off the books. I strongly advise to avoid this agency and this dishonest man.

20th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)I had a really positive experience with Bridges Estate Agents in Caversham and would happily recommend them to anyone looking to sell their property.<br><br>From the initial valuation through to completion, the whole team were professional, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. They clearly know the Caversham market extremely well and gave sensible, realistic advice throughout rather than simply telling us what we wanted to hear.<br><br>The marketing of the property was excellent, with great photos and a well-presented listing, and they were proactive in arranging and managing viewings. Communication was also very good — we were kept updated with feedback, interest from potential buyers and any developments with the sale.<br><br>Once we had accepted an offer, they continued to be heavily involved rather than disappearing after the sale was agreed. They helped keep the chain moving, regularly chased solicitors and other parties where necessary, and kept us informed right through to exchange and completion. This made what can be quite a stressful process feel much more manageable.<br><br>Everyone we dealt with was friendly, responsive and professional, and it genuinely felt like they cared about getting the best outcome for us rather than simply getting the property sold as quickly as possible.<br><br>A great local estate agent and an excellent service from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Bridges Caversham again.
7th Sep 2026 (15 days ago)**SHOCKING ESTATE AGENT** Absolutely abysmal service from this estate agent, quick enough to move you in then when there is a problem they’re no where to be seen. Had non stop mould problems with the property we rented and when we finally managed to consult them about this issue it took MONTHS for someone to even visit and do a damp and mould report… the estate agent tried to blame me for the mould issue which is unbelievable! When I received the report, they clearly HAD NOT read it because it says there is insufficient ventilation in the property and a part of the wall had a poor air brick therfor allowing water ingress. Also noting the fact that one of the ventilation fans didn’t work, also mentioned in the report. Then they started to blame the tumble drier, which was supplied by our landlord and was letting off “EXTREME” levels of humidity… None of them have a clue what they’re doing… and now I’ve got no furniture due to the issues as I’ve had to throw it all out. They basically lied us off to say they don’t care. As the report said “all proposed works should be undertaken”, None of the proposed works except the tumble drier inspection was carried out, and even that proved useless so we requested a second inspection for the mould and tumble drier to which we were told NO! The landlord I don’t think was the issue, it was solely down to the uselessness and lack of care from the estate agent, specifically Lisa.<br><br>USE THIS ESTATE AGENT AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Upon meeting Bruno for the first time, we felt at ease he explained the whole process to us and was warm and friendly. Madi was on hand for any questions and great with advice for first time sellers like us! Very thorough and professional as well as being so lovely too. They explain the process at every step so we always knew what was going on. Shout out to Charlie who was very welcoming and friendly too.<br>I would 100% recommend K&C in Steyning

However Wards did get several leads and worked to turn them into a sale. Their approach was to push for the modern auction or a deep discount, and in the end it was the discount that got the sale.

They were always easy to get hold of and very helpful in answering my questions and keeping the transaction on track. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
