25th Sep 2024 (1 year ago)Overall, the feedback was when agent was chased for updates but didn’t find them very proactive. The agent didn’t sell the property despite being on the market for over a year, however other market factors were in place so it’s not all attributed to agent’s performance.
11th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)First let then sold a property through maritime properties. They dealt with the while process and kept me informed at all times. Much better than other estate agents that I have dealt with.
10th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)While the initial engagement was positive things went downhill. The listing was incorrect on some portals and the links to the virtual tour broken. This took numerous calls to get sorted. Communication back to me following viewings was poor and despite requests for statistics regarding online adverts I only received a basic summary as a one off.

They were proactive about finding a buyer for our home and were forthcoming and helpful with advice and recommendations when we ran into a few complications. They were great at communicating feedback and I always felt they were on our side. Thanks Karen, India and the rest of the team!
31st May 2026 (20 days ago)I selected Dexters as I had bought the flat from them 8 years ago in Charlton and was impressed by the service I received from Demie and Maria. However the staff has completely changed since and it feels like it’s run by not so experienced people. Lot of communication errors , not following up on time . Many times I got a feeling my flat was not the priority and weekly calls felt like “tick in the box” calls where it was clearly apparent the agent was multitasking raffling papers in background while having conversation. No single point of contact who is selling the flat, being passed around agent to agent. It was evident that the communication within the team wasn’t there which affected the sale . I would not recommend dexters .

We are literally trying to get flats on rent, and everytime we equire about any flats from posted- The answer is ohh its not available. Your staff at worcester park judged us when we visited them. Today also we saw one board and contacted your team and its gone, when i asked where you have posted, they said in different website but reality it was never posted. We are going to complaint about how your staff being biased towards us- 9th Sep 2025 (9 mo. ago)We have worked with a range of different letting agents over while renting our properties and have had a very mixed experience. And Savills have been the exception to that rule - Adam and his team have been absolutely brilliant. We have had great advice about the market and exceptional advice about handling awkward situations with tenants. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without them.
1st Jun 2026 (19 days ago)Rented a property through Johns and Co for 18 months. We were good tenants and looked after the place. They were ok during the tenancy, but now seem to be doing everything they can to make deductions from our deposit. In the weeks before moving out Johns and Co pushed an expensive end of tenancy clean on us via email. We decided to book our own professional clean from a reputable cleaning company. Several weeks after moving out we were told that parts of the clean we had instructed were not good enough and that they wanted to deduct the full cost of one of their expensive cleans from our deposit. They did not give us any opportunity to get our cleaners to re-attend and make good contentious areas. Other things they are trying to deduct: - Over £100 for "putting a sink plug back together" - £144 for a door threshold coming loose, which was marked as damaged when we moved in. I would avoid renting through John's and Co unless you are willing to risk losing a big chunk of your deposit for unreasonable things.

13th Nov 2025 (7 mo. ago)Jaspal was particularly helpful, communicating constantly throughout the purchasing process. When, on our final inspection before completion, we found ourselves locked out of the property, Jaspal solved the issue by contacting previous tenants for information, having essential items to open the lock delivered and finally gaining access. All this without having eaten for 24 hours! Full marks to Jaspal for problem-solving and tenacity!
15th Jun 2026 (5 days ago)The experience was good as far as the agent's work and effort goes and the very high number of visits it hosted (49). Also, Andrew always had a cheerful and positive attitude and responded promptly to my enquiries. The market coverage was good since we got a lot of interest from the market. However the product turned out not to be positioned correctly since staging the property through the use of AI, per agent's recommendation, was not the right move as this only attracted buyers expecting to see a turn-key project and were disappointed at discovering the actual condition of the property. In other words the initial ad did not reflect the property appearance and was counterproductive since we got the wrong kind of buyer at almost every visit.. As a result there was only one offer out of as many as 49 visitors (a disappointing result) and the price I had to agree to was quite a bit less than both what I had expected and also what the agent had assessed the property to be worth initially before pressing me hard to reduce the price considerably. Therefore, I have mixed feelings about my experience though I am confident Truepenny's would do better in selling turn-key projects as opposed to houses needing work.

30th Jun 2023 (2 years ago)Cromwells were professional throughout but were affected by a slowing market due to increased interest rates. This meant that they were unable to get the number of anticipated viewings and were unable to sell my house. I took the decision to move agents to try and speed up a sale but Cromwells did get some viewings and their communication was good.

Always available, responsive and proactive to help everything move along. Our first move in 30 years and would certainly recommend Chris and the rest of the team at Stack & Bonner to make the process as pleasurable as possible.

They are honest and approachable with excellent communication to back up, most importantly get the job done, completed a chain process.. Strongly recommended if you are looking to sale a house, and you mean it!!

Throughout the process Kevin kept us updated with clear and timely communications and went above and beyond. Kevin and the team were chasing up solicitors and parties in the chain and doing more than all the other agents put together to ensure that completion happened before Christmas. Anyone thinking of selling should not go anywhere else!

We have previously tried to sell using other agents in the area and the level of service and relationship was night and day.
