8th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)It was a slow start with minimal viewings,but eventually we got an offer. After this the agent was always helping us keep on track with weekly updates,liasing between buyers & sellers solicitors!
6th Jun 2026 (21 weeks ago)I would rate 2Roost Estate Agents as average overall — you get what you pay for. They initially valued my property around £25,000 higher than what it eventually sold for, which I found disappointing and unrealistic. The staff were friendly throughout the process and the photographs they took of the property were very good. However, I felt the overall service lacked experience and professionalism at times. On one occasion, my front door was left open overnight due to carelessness, which was completely unacceptable. I also felt there was little flexibility with viewings outside of standard hours, as evening appointments after 5pm were not really accommodated or proactively discussed with me. In addition, some of the offers put forward to me felt unrealistic and far below expectations. While the service was not terrible, it was fairly mediocre overall. Looking back, I probably would have chosen a more established estate agent, even if it meant paying slightly higher fees. Ultimately, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys — lesson learned on my part.

12th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)Choose anyone else.<br><br>We were charmed by the chap who gave to value and photograph our house. But it was all down hill from there. They over valued and under sold our house. They are almost impossible to reach by phone with queries and questions. They seemed to be working for our buyer and not for us.<br>They made over the top requests, including letting our buyer see the house without our stuff before completion.<br>They did nothing to support us when our buyer's electrician unplugged our freezer and we lost all the contents. We ended up paying for our buyer's roof survey and the team did nothing but try to knock us down on price.<br><br>And now the house is sold, and we have paid our fees, they are still emailing trying to get money for our buyer!<br><br>Awful. Just awful. They paid the entire process stressful and traumatic. I ended up having to CC our solicitor into every email just to avoid Reeds Rains screwing us over even more.

I would recommend Blundells due to my experience throughout this process.- 30th Jul 2026 (13 weeks ago)????? Outstanding support when things got difficult I first contacted Reeds Rains – previously at 16-18 Moorgate Street, now at Wickersley Rotherham in March 2024 to help me find a flat. From the start, I was told the landlord would manage the property. I thought it would make no difference whether it was managed by the agent or landlord, but it turned out to be a terrible experience all through my stay of over two years. What impressed me most was that the team stood by me from beginning to end, even when issues arose over my deposit. They guided me step-by-step and helped me successfully recover my full deposit plus overpaid rent — something I could not have done without their support. A special mention for Abby — even though she is no longer with the company, her hard work, resilience and dedication were truly noticed and appreciated. I also want to say the Accounts Department was absolutely amazing — efficient, helpful and always there when I needed them. Thank you to every member of the team. I couldn't remember names, the branch manager and other staff members was brilliant. You turned a very stressful situation around and showed real care for your tenants. I highly recommend this office.

Mark was available for advice same day ring back.Bartons got the viewers in every week chased feedback which helped us evaluate where we was in the Market. AFtersales great advice and help ?????? Above expectations they took the stress away handled my house sale their experience.in the field 5 star Also what I found Georgina is very approachable professional she and Bartons work 100 % to get your house Sold. Roy the guy that takes the viewers round your house is great as I have cameras was able to see what was happening and he gives viewers the information he knows about your property and he a salesman who tries to point out all the good things which helps with the Sale whilst be very productive with pushing the house forward above all great at his Job.

29th Oct 2026 (1 day ago)Initially the Property Hive seemed proactive but after years of trying to sell my property they seemed to lose interest. When I asked to change photos of my property it did not get done for weeks. Information on viewings was not brilliant either.
7th May 2024 (2 years ago)I had a pleasant stay throughout the year and 6 months plus,from the moment I stepped in their offices I met one agent namely muktah,he was very helpful,a very kind man who knows how to communicate with people,if u have issues he will always be there to help,in life u can never predict ur future,sometimes u hit rock bottom and if u don't have an agent who undestands your struggles you'll definitely have a rough time in the property,i recommend Hallam Hills to a friend whose looking for a place to stay,ask for muktah when u step in their offices you'll never regret it,he's the best of the best ????.

He knew everything about the house, went into detail in each room, simple things that other estate agents don't mention such as the age of the windows etc. Was also able to answer every question.

However, I firmly believe it would have taken a lot longer if Lincoln Ralph had not proactively frequently liaised with all parties involved to push the process on to a satisfactory conclusion. It was a very lengthy process due to shared ownership but that was nothing to do with Reeds Rains who were excellent throughout. I would highly recommend this amazing team who absolutely did there best for us at all times, whilst working hard to quickly sort out any unexpected hold ups which cropped up and also for keeping us informed all the way through.
13th Oct 2026 (17 days ago)?????<br><br>Where do we even begin!<br><br>My partner and I recently sold our property through Hughes, and what a rollercoaster of a journey it's been! Through absolutely no fault of Hughes, our experience of buying and selling has certainly had its fair share of ups and downs.<br><br>It all started when we found our first potential home, only to have our offer rejected. The same thing happened with the second property, but thankfully, it was third time lucky!<br><br>Throughout this process, Lewis was incredibly patient, supportive and reassuring, always reminding us that the right property would come along for us and our family. And he was right!<br><br>Fast forward to the day before completion, and what should have been an exciting time turned into our worst nightmare when our buyers pulled out. Rachel worked tirelessly to get everything back on track, going above and beyond to help save our move. I genuinely cannot thank her enough for her determination, hard work and support during what was an incredibly stressful time.<br><br>Even on completion day, the challenges weren't quite over! The property we were purchasing hadn't been fully cleared, with numerous belongings still left behind. Danielle stepped in and communicated with our buyers, explaining the situation and why we hadn't been able to completely empty our own property.<br><br>What really stood out to us was that, whenever another problem arose, there was always someone at Hughes willing to help, reassure us and find a solution.<br><br>I'd like to say a massive personal thank you to Lewis, Rachel, Danielle and the entire Hughes team. You've all played a part in helping our family move into what we hope will be our dream home.<br><br>Buying and selling a house can be stressful at the best of times, but having the right people in your corner makes all the difference.<br><br>We genuinely couldn't have done it without you, and we'll always be grateful.<br><br>Thank you all so much! They exceeded my expectations and were always so warm, kind and practical. They were never far away and were always on hand to deal with my enquiries. Their help and individual expertise every step of the way was so helpful. Whoever employs these wonderful individuals, you are so very lucky to have such exceptional staff! I’m so glad I went with Blundells. Dan is a bit of genius though, he sold it for me and blew me away during the valuation.<br><br>The price was also reasonable and suited my budget well. Which was also a deciding factor for me as I had quite a few agents come to quote/valuate.<br><br>Thank you guys for getting me through it all (and bearing with my neuroticism lol) and into my dream home.
