I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.

However, as soon as we confirmed our house, they proved us wrong by making process really smooth and quick. we are really satisfied with their service, specially our property manager Cody, we really appreciate your support and kindness, Thank you. Throughout the whole process Nick and Adam have always kept us informed with updates and were always quick to respond back with any questions we had.<br>Which gave me such a peace of mind.<br>We had dealt with another estate agent (well known one) with a property that had structural issues and didn’t feel as though they cared when we explained our reasoning to why we couldn’t go ahead, just wanted us gone.<br>So to have gone from that experience to McKenzie Smith was such a relief. It definitely felt more personal.<br><br>So from me and Michael thank you so much guys!!

I was particularly impressed with Kristina's swift and precise communication, as well as her knowledge of the development and the property. I have bought and sold properties in Farnham through Hamptons over the last 25 years, and this encounter was up to their usual high standards. Thoroughly recommended.

Their fully managed service has made being a landlord incredibly straightforward, with any issues — whether plumbing, gardening, roofing, electrics or anything else — dealt with quickly and efficiently.<br><br>Last year, they found excellent tenants for my property within a month. More recently, my existing tenants unexpectedly decided to leave, but Charters once again delivered. A new tenant was found, fully checked and agreed to move into the flat within just five weeks — an excellent result given the circumstances.<br><br>A special mention must go to Jacqui and Kirstie, who have been fantastic and played a key role in finding the new tenant. They have both been incredibly helpful, responsive and professional throughout.<br><br>I’m very happy with Charters and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to other landlords. Great service, excellent communication and a very impressive fully managed service. Highly recommended.

During the many "lumps and bumps" of the buying and selling process, they remained positive to achieve the ultimate aim of completing the sale! My wife and I where nothing but impressed, with the communication, and on going support offered by all of the team, when things looked decidedly uncertain of a completion. Rebecca, Patrick and the team are a credit to Bourne who are lucky to have them representing them in the small Farnham office. Bourne Farnham are Highly Recommended, from a couple who do not post reviews. Well done Bourne Farnham, who we would choose again, if we ever (never again) moved.

3rd Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Recently sold a property in Guildford; It was a long and tortuous process complicated by the fact that I am living overseas and was very poorly advised as to finding a settlement agent. A first real estate agent made unrealistic market assertions regarding the market then followed up by passing the work to office juniors. Eventually I re-marketed through Kings and was fortunate to have Bipen working on my property. Bipen personally conducted viewings and found a buyer in reasonable time, then worked to achieve a mutually acceptable outcome; Unfortunately, this was only the start- dealing through disinterested settlement lawyers on both sides of the deal was so tedious that I came close to abandoning the sale; Somehow, and mainly through Bipen’s perseverance and patience, the deal was eventually settled and both myself and the buyer can move on. Many thanks to Bipen for sticking with this one- his diligence was literally the only thing between a sale and returning to the rental market! Great outcome all round- Many thanks!

Throughout the months leading up to our decision to let our property there was quite a lot of uncertainty due to delays with my international job relocation. Kathryne was very reassuring, patient, and professional in handling our individual circumstances. The viewings were handled promptly and efficiently and our property was let within days of it being advertised. This allowed for a 2 day gap between us moving out and our tenants moving in - this is fantastic from a cash flow perspective as a landlord! We look forward to continuing to work with Bourne and highly recommend to landlords, especially first time landlords, based on our experience to date.
