Even before our own property was on the market, he took the time to show us a number of homes with no pressure at all, striking exactly the right balance of professional, friendly and helpful. That early experience meant we didn’t consider using anyone else when it came to selling. Archie handled our sale brilliantly, securing a fair price quickly and keeping us fully informed throughout the process. From sale agreed to exchange in just two months was impressively fast, and a real credit to Archie’s proactive approach. Overall, a smooth and positive experience with Hamptons where Archie is a real asset and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

From the very beginning, he guided and supported us every step of the way. There were definitely some challenges along the road—ones that only Stuart and we truly understand—but he never gave up on us. His persistence, encouragement, and belief in us kept us going when things felt tough. Thanks to Stuart’s dedication and hard work, we were able to finally get everything over the line, complete the move, and settle into our new home. We’re so grateful for his support and couldn’t have done it without him. - 11th Mar 2026 (25 days ago)In a very difficult and stressful time, the team at John D Wood were above and beyond all expectations. Certainly not like your “usual” Estate Agents. With a limited time period, within hours they attended and found the solution we needed. Me and my family will never forget this and will use them again when necessary. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Be smart and go to John D Wood!

The property was not cleaned at all upon completion, communication throughout the process was consistently poor, and they failed to return important documents relating to the new energy supplier. Wikki, in particular, was extremely unhelpful. I would not recommend using this agency for a purchase of any kind.

31st May 2024 (1 year ago)I had the worst experience of my life with them and Featherstone Leigh , my son has a permanent asthma and breathing issue from the flat they have rented me. I was not able to stay in the flat for over two months , no alternative was offered to me and my family, being homeless due to the smell of damp, water leak has costed me a lot of money and stress. Useless team all they care about is their rent it be paid , they have breached their contract on so many occasions, they failed . Do not get fooled by those good reviews!

Jasmine was really personable, answered all my questions (including following up via e-mail as needed), and supported me throughout the process. I am a first time buyer so didn’t know anything about the necessary steps so Jasmine and her colleague (Sandip) helped guide and prepare me throughout. I definitely recommend using Hawks and Jasmine.

He secured a great tenant for my flat, and completed all of the necessary checks / property preparations for me. I found the process much easier than using one of the well known large agencies in London (who I have had terrible experiences with in the past) - I’d highly recommend to others, and have already passed his details on to friends looking for an agent in London.
