Excellent service. Cannot recommend enough. I dealt with David primarily and Abbie and they were absolutely wonderful at making me feel less stressed by keeping on top of the whole sale and keeping me up to date at every step of the process. The emails and text messages for viewing bookings were really appreciated and David taking charge of the viewings themselves helped out a lot as well.

Lettings service has been increasingly terrible over the past 9 months. No key contacts to deal with as it appears they all keep leaving. I'm having to chase up rental statements and payments on a monthly basis. I leave voicemails and no one gets back to me. I will be moving my properties elsewhere once the agreements run out.

I am a first time home buyer and went to Allan & Harris for advice. There I spoke with Apurve Kaushik (AK) who could not have been more helpful. He helped me secure my new home and made the process very smooth and stress free. Even now he is still helping me with things. I honestly couldn’t recommend Allan and Harris and AK in particular highly enough!!

Allen & Harris offered a fantastic service and were helpful every step of the way. I used their mortgage advisor, AK and he couldn’t have been more helpful! As a first time buyer he really explained every step. Not to mention quick replies and quick turnarounds. Highly recommend Allen & Harris and AK.

My husband and I have just signed our contract with Allan and Harris and will be working with the Dumbarton branch. However, it was Clayton who came to the house to value and a second time with our contract. Clayton has been outstanding and professional in his work and is extremely knowledgeable of the area and value of our property. We can’t thank Clayton enough for making this process easy for us.

Just terrible. My girlfriend and I purchased a house at the end of 2015 (no thanks to this company). The manager and estate agent lied to us from the start. They were directly asked if there were any issues such as subsidence and they denied that there were. After our offer had been accepted and solicitors were involved we got letters showing that subsidence had indeed occurred at the rear of the house and repairs had been done. There was no way that the estate agents did not know this.
To make matters worse they never told the owners that they had lied to us. The process was prolonged as we decided to get a full survey done and do numerous checks on the property. We would usually have walked away once the 'S' word was mentioned but we loved the area and intended to rebuild and extend. When we finally spoke to the owners (after weeks of asking Allen and Harris to put us in contact) the owners could not believe that we had not been told about the issues with the property.
After we had put an offer in I also got a random telephone call in the middle of a work day stating that I needed to put a final sealed bid in else the house would go to someone else. Whe n I asked if my initial offer had been rejected they did not answer. This came completely out of the blue with no warning and was very bizarre and unprofessional. There had never been any mention of sealed bids until this random phone call. I told them I needed to talk with my girlfriend before making a final offer. I was then unable to contact them and received a very late email the next day stating the house had gone. This left us very confused and my partner was very upset! Not being one to back down I walked in their office the next day and put down another offer. As they legally have to go back to the owner I ended up getting the property.
They were not good for the buyer or seller in this situation.
I understand that the manager and estate agent in question no longer work there but the experience with this company was terrible. They give estate agents a bad name.
