? 1/5<br>Very disappointing experience.<br>A few years ago, I was due to rent a property in Ely through William H Brown. Everything had been arranged and I had already given notice on my previous home. On the very day I was supposed to collect the keys, I was told that the landlord had changed their mind.<br><br>I had organised everything around the move and was left in an extremely difficult situation, with the real possibility of having nowhere to live. I still remember the stress this caused me and my family.<br><br>I understand that landlords can change their minds, but I expected the agency to make sure everything was secure before allowing me to give notice and prepare to move. Years later, I still remember how badly this was handled. Based on my experience, I would not use them again.

Very disappointing experience with the mortgage advisor.<br>Unfortunately, I was not happy with the service or guidance I received. I felt the advice provided was very limited, and there were not enough lender options presented to properly compare the market.<br>The prices and rates offered also seemed high compared with what I was able to find by speaking to other mortgage companies. I expected a mortgage advisor to provide a wider range of options, explain the differences clearly, and help find a competitive deal, but I did not feel this was the case.<br>After comparing the options with other companies, I found significantly more choice and better alternatives elsewhere. Overall, I was disappointed with the level of guidance, the limited lender options, and the prices available. Based on my experience, I would recommend shopping around and getting quotes from several mortgage advisors before making a decision.

Unprofessional Conduct & Missed Appointments—Unacceptable Service.
Twice now, I’ve attempted to get a valuation from this office, and twice, it's been a disaster.
April: I canceled my valuation via email, yet the valuer still showed up—right as I was heading to an important meeting. Clearly, the staff failed to communicate internally.
June: This time, my valuation was confirmed, yet the valuer never showed. No call, no email, no text—nothing. Completely unprofessional.
When I called to find out what happened, I was connected to the same valuer, who outright accused me of booking multiple valuations. False. A complete fabrication. It’s clear he decided to leave me hanging as some kind of petty revenge for the first canceled appointment—an error by his own office, not me.
To that valuer: Grow up. This isn’t a playground. It’s a business, and you’re supposed to act like a professional.

I was referred to William H Brown after a good experience with Bagshaws. Unfortunately this wasn't a good experience. They charged me a "1% but fixed" fee for the sale (5k +VAT). They then listed my house for 475k. When I realised this I asked how the fee was calculated, they failed to provide details yet insisted it was "based on 475k". So they are actively trying to rip off their customers or can't do basic math. Ive cancelled and moved to another agent and halved my fee. Would not recommend.

Katie Keeleys hard work certainly deserves recognition. We have been assigned Katie as our property manager and I’ve had to contact her regarding a couple of issues now. She delivered quality customer care and escalated the report immediately leading to resolutions. Would just like to say thank you so much to Charlotte and team with her help and support with my daughter’s house purchase. Nothing has been too much trouble for Charlotte and she has helped us throughout, and if she hasn’t been available Evie has also been a great help. Would highly recommend William H Brown.
