30th Aug 2022 (1 year ago)Recently purchased a property at auction with Hammer Price Homes. I was a little sceptical first about buying a property via an online auction but was really surprised and happy about how easy it was. I liked the transparency of the auction and felt that it tested what the actual market value of the property was rather than the usual process of placing offers through an estate agent. The additional benefit was that we had time to arrange a mortgage. We had 3 months following the auction to complete and Michael at Hammer Price was great to guide us through the process and answer any questions. We completed 2 weeks ago and have began renovations on our new house last week!

17th Jul 2022 (1 year ago)Positives: We used LS to sell our house as part of a chain. The selling, marketing, promotion and viewing parts were excellent. We also had our original buyer pull out quite late in the process and LS quickly organised new viewings so we could remain as part of the original chain with new buyers. We also found all of the last minute negotiations good. Negatives: in between the initial viewings and exchange/ completion at the end, we didn't always feel very informed or kept up to date with progress. It often seemed to be us doing all the proactive following up.
26th May 2022 (1 year ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.
18th Dec 2023 (19 weeks ago)Deakin White were efficient and proactive in searching for properties for me. Both Sarah and Elliot were very good, made appointments at short notice and their sales style was not pushy at all (which I really liked). Communication is an area for improvement, it became apparent when talking to the seller directly that information wasn't always being passed on and the manager of the branch was able to progress things that had stalled for a few weeks. Overall a good experience.

Alex & David at Harpenden branch gave great advice throughout the sales process, from market valuation, all the way through to the agreed sale. Once the sale is agreed I got passed to a sales progressor which was Mandy at St Albans branch, she was super helpful with solicitors, the buyers, and progressing the sale. She was always available for any queries or communications. Thank you Mandy! I would recommend Bradford & Howley and would not hesitate to use them again. Many thanks to all the team!
