4th Dec 2023 (7 mo. ago)We have recently sold our property through Clive Anthony and was extremely impressed from our first contact with Clive to all later contact with staff within the office and those completing viewings. We accepted an offer within two weeks and although the process took longer than expected this was not due to fault by Clive Anthony rather complications within the chain. Annette and the team could not have been more helpful throughout this process and I would highly recommend them. Thanks again Annette for all your help.

I’ve been a tenant of this branch for many years, and they have always been on hand to help me with anything. However, after moving properties as of recent, I cannot express my gratitude enough for how they both went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and stress free move in process. Samantha is extremely knowledgeable and explained each part of the process clearly. She answered all of my many questions, and guided me through everything with patience and kindness. Lois’ responsiveness and efficiency has been so appreciated, she has dropped things to help me last minute and has just made what could have been a daunting process a lot easier for me. Both of these girls have made me feel comfortable and so so supported and their combined efforts, professionalism and genuine care has made my move so much more enjoyable. 24th Jul 2024 (3 days ago)Initially instructed Cardwells to sell the flat however the photos taken were poor and we did not get much interest We decided to instruct Cardwells as the agent was very enthusiastic and likeable- however our instincts were wrong and we had to change agents.
9th Jul 2024 (18 days ago)I recently sold my property with Ryder & Dutton, Heywood branch. It was a very positive experience from start to finish. Starting with Fran Whittle who came out to to do the initial valuation with her obvious experience and knowledge of the local market, which is the most important aspect of selling a house. She also did the photographs and write up and it was listed online within just a few days. From that point on I dealt with Megan D’Angelillo at the local branch who was just excellent in every aspect of her position. She moved to another branch shortly after and Jenna Henley took over, who was also excellent, extremely efficient, professional and with great communication. They have perfected their process and they execute so well, both individually and as a Team. I received multiple, daily emails about viewings which happened immediately the house was listed, which they also handled for me. I had multiple offers within the first week and Jenna was on the ball at all times until we accepted an offer that we were very happy with. Once we agreed with the buyer, the transaction went as quickly as their bank would allow. Jenna kept me informed every step of the way, I never had to call once to ask for updates, she preempted any question before I even asked. It’s rare to get such service, I cannot recommend them highly enough. It becomes very apparent that using your local estate agent who has known the local area for so many years is a must for viewings and communication. I also used a solicitor they are not connected to but are familiar with due to their long, established network of local vendors, which made communication flow much better than had I introduced a random, unknown solicitor. This just added to the efficiency. I had no issues at all. Had there been any I would rather have a local company on my side than a random online company who have no connection or attachment to the area. I can recommend Ryder & Dutton without hesitation, it was a pleasure to deal with them. Big thanks to Fran, Megan and Jenna, you were totally awesome!

I've had a couple of problems which have been sorted within hours by Andrew the lettings manager. Would highly recommend Belvoir. Very professional.

18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

24th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)A huge shout out and thank you to Melanie and Niall at Lifestyle Sales and Lettings who have just helped us to sell our office building in Bury. They were so hands on, helpful, proactive and kept us fully informed of interest levels and viewings. I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done. We had previously put the sale in the hands of a larger estate agent! The service was nowhere near the same level and nothing materialised. If you want an estate who cares, and is actually working for you proactively – then you need to get in touch with the team at Lifestyle. Gill & Eric Arnott
