16th Dec 2025 (6 weeks ago)this is not a spam review,its real,it was 2yrs ago!!!tried to make appt 2 view a house,,,kept getting excuses,poor,it was in aston in makerfield and no one turned up,i travelled 25 miles 2 see it!!No wasnt another office or agent it was your office,it is not aspam reviewat all,asyou did market a houseto let in this area .period!!

We experienced an extremely well communicated purchase. Nothing was too much trouble for Amy she was very helpful especially towards the end when it gets stressful !!

7th Jan 2026 (18 days ago)Russell helped a lot to move things forward on my purchase and sale. But when got to the house the new installed boiler advertised by the agency was actually 8 years old. A big disappointment. My advice is make sure to check the details on the house advert with your solicitors because I trusted this is correct and now have an old boiler that is in need of a few repairs.

The advice we received was clear, honest, and incredibly supportive, and we felt looked after at every stage. Choosing the auction route was the best decision we made, it ensured a fast completion and didn’t cost us a penny. Communication was excellent throughout, with full transparency from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend Martin and the team at Crown Estates highly enough; they were professional, efficient, and genuinely caring, making the whole journey truly five-star.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

We never had to chase them for updates, and their proactive approach helped keep our purchase moving smoothly towards completion.
