28th Jul 2024 (25 weeks ago)Looking further afield at where i want to live which reaches the right balance and unfortunately everything on offer is too expensive for my income. Its a sad state of the country which is not really FennWrights fault but they are part of the industry so they needed to know and when challenged on this some became upset and brazen about that's just how it is. 625, for a admittedly well decorated but E graded EPC bedsit above your shop just is not acceptable. For that price you could have provided furniture and all the other stuff and i stand my ground that a fair rent would be an annual yield of 3 to 5 percent. Especially as the original maisonette above had been originally i believe social housing scheme which and then you then became the managing agents of. Turning the 2 bedroom maisonettes into single units was crazy. Now i suppose someone is without a living room and i bet the rent is exorbitant. Especially as you are the owners of the block somehow. I guess its who you know at Tendring.

Lucinda has been especially helpful as my main point of contact. I would 100% recommend Lane and Bennett’s to anyone looking to rent in the area.

Worked tirelessly to ensure the whole thing was as smooth as possible, went above and beyond to keep in contact on days off and late evenings. Could not have asked any more. Lawsons as a whole are very professional and helpful ensuring peace of mind through a stressful and exciting period. Couldn’t recommend Hayley and the team any more. 5 star service.

Ensum Brown were super helpful and lovely to deal with (especially Sarah Leach) and helped us get lots of questions answered quicker than our solicitor. Would recommend and use again in the future!

10th Jan 2025 (7 days ago)We cannot recommend Hockeys Estate Agents highly enough! From start to finish, the team has been nothing short of amazing. As buyers, we’ve had experiences with other estate agents that were pushy and disingenuous, but Hockeys was the complete opposite. From the very first interaction, they were honest, upfront, and genuinely committed to helping us, and this carried on throughout the entire process. They were incredibly accommodating with viewings—Dan was so helpful and knowledgeable when showing us around. Dom was always just a phone call away, helping us navigate several challenges during the purchase (including probate and some tough moments with conveyancers). His calm problem-solving approach was invaluable. And then there’s Dawn, who is quite literally an angel. She took on so much admin, chased up updates, and kept everything moving efficiently. Dawn was proactive, reliable, and went above and beyond to make the process as smooth as possible. She even called us regularly with updates, which was such a comfort during the more stressful moments. If we ever buy or sell again, we wouldn’t hesitate for a heartbeat—we’d go straight to Hockeys.
