29th Apr 2024 (13 weeks ago)I would rate it 0 stars if I could. They looked after a property , said they got the repairs carried out and it turns out they didn't even earth the plugs . That was one of many repairs paid for and upon further inspection they just literally papered over cracks . After paying for their 'repairs' , I've now had to fork out over 10 grand repairing what they said they had done. Including whole new rewire and plastering a d redecorating (after their sparky had signed the paperwork saying everything was fine ) . Avoid at all costs
18th May 2023 (1 year ago)Huge thank you to Jeanette snd Mary who helped with the purchase of our new home. It was quite stressful for us at times and we had a few (a lot!) bumps in the road. We were very dependent on the team especially towards the end of the buying process for many reasons. I truly believe without their help on an almost daily basis we would still be waiting for the sale to have been finalised. We are now 4 weeks in our new home and are so happy. The stress long forgotten. The team are Very professional, very “on it” and also want to do the best for the buyer. Thank you all.

25th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)The team at SY Gosforth, including Mary and Ashleigh, couldn’t have been more helpful in enabling the sale of our old family home for my mother - finding the right buyers (to make it a young family home again), progressing the sale advising all parties on the key negotiations and reaching a satisfying conclusion for all parties in a rather long overall chain.

She liased with Emily re viewing the property and we met with Emily once the rental was agreed ( conditionally) We found Emily to be most helpful and so welcoming. Any questions we had were addressed and we were happy with our experience both with Emily and the Your Move staff in Consett . We are now happily settled in our new home

They moved me into a flat with no working plumbing which they knew prior to the start date but neglected to tell me, they ignore emails and texts, their staff gaslight you, they turn up at your home unannounced sometimes letting themselves in and I don't think I've been treated this badly by a company ever. Do yourself a favour and deal with landlords directly. This company is not worth the premium you and the landlord have to pay and they cause more issues than they solve.

21st May 2024 (10 weeks ago)Good experience except for an encounter with one individual called Todd. He was very keen to tell me he was the company director on arrival, then told me (whilst picking dirt out of his fingernails) “I couldn’t really care less about this property” probably because it was cheap and his commission is low, I’m hoping he doesn’t treat people buying cheap properties less than those spending millions. If he does he clearly doesn’t understand the basic principles of business. Business isn’t about quick transactions, it’s built on relationships. I will not be doing business with this company moving forward, I would advise against using them, they lied to me twice in the process of buying the house and the disappointing attitude from inflated ego Todd was a let down, perhaps if he did his research he wouldn’t talk to me like that. Shame really, when one guy lets the team down.
