She also advised and sold my Mams property. Both properties she had sold within the week. She also took care of my daughter and helped her get on the property ladder to buy her first home. She has went above and beyond. Her friendly down to earth nature alongside her knowledge of the area and sector is outstanding. It’s very rare these days you get the professional high standards and genuine passion for the job in a whole team. I would 100% recommend Kate and her team and wouldn’t go anywhere else if I was to sell or buy again! Special mention also to Demi who stayed late on night to update me when I was stressing. They take the stress out of moving away! ??

They said they tried to phone me despite them having my phone number, email details etc and them phoning me this week already to confirm the viewing...

From the first contact I was reassured I’d chosen the right place and being a small company it was a lot more personable. From the first valuation of our flat in Heaton, we were immediately struck by his personal approach and his unparalleled understanding of the local market. From marketing to sales progression, he supported us perfectly and made himself very available. Although our chain didn’t work out as we would have liked, Noel went above and beyond to offer calm, honest, and expert advice and to keep things moving forward. He has been incredibly supportive throughout a stressful situation. An absolute professional who genuinely looks after his clients and goes the extra mile. 8th Sep 2026 (14 days ago)One of the worst estate agents we have rented with. We encountered many issues when renting with Hive Estates. We had water ingress/mould in our bathroom for over 5 months, which we reported around 3 times and nothing was ever done. They did not even investigate this. We then had around 4 leaks in our kitchen from the upstairs neighbour - one evening, around midnight, the leak was really bad and we called and contacted the 'emergency number' many times but got no response. We emailed the property manager, who told us that there was no emergency number in use. We had someone try to kick our door in, and I emailed the estate agents as this was a security issue and wanted to inform them of this - I received no response to my email. Then at the end of our tenancy, they tried to charge us for a redecoration of our bedroom when the paint and everything else when we moved in was in an awful condition. There were marks all over the walls, yet they claimed this room was freshly painted upon us moving in. When it came to returning our deposit, they didn't respond to us for over 3 weeks, and only gave us the remainder of our deposit back when we emailed them and stated that we would take it further. We believe this is because they had no evidence to use to back up their point of the bedroom being freshly decorated upon us moving in. Even the photos they took on the check in report showed these marks! They are sneaky and will try anything to keep your money. Don't recommend at all

It was a very quick sale and their communication was fantastic throughout. Couldn’t fault them and the team in any way. Thank you so much.

21st Sep 2026 (1 day ago)I remember making my very first call to John Buck Estates and speaking with Victoria. We were on the phone for around 45 minutes, and from that very first conversation, I just knew we were going to have a great experience. Our house had previously been on the market twice with two different estate agents, and after those experiences, we honestly didn’t have much hope that we would be able to sell. Victoria completely changed that for us and assured me that she could help us get there. Sophie came out to do the valuation and was so friendly, warm and welcoming. She made the whole experience feel so easy and positive. Our house was then put on the market incredibly quickly and, unbelievably, within just 11 days, it was sold — for more than we had even hoped for! I genuinely couldn’t believe it. We’ve dealt with Victoria for pretty much the entire process, and I can honestly say that we feel like we’ve gained a friend along the way. Her advice, professionalism, knowledge and support have been absolutely amazing. She has been there for everything we’ve needed, always going above and beyond and making what could have been a stressful process feel so much easier. The service from everyone including John , Victoria and Sophie has been fantastic, and I’m genuinely so grateful for everything they have done for us. We’re now nearly at the end of the process, and I’m actually gutted because I’m going to miss speaking to Victoria on a daily basis! We always laugh and say that we’ve gained another friend through this whole experience — and we really do feel that way. I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough - if you’re thinking of putting your house up for sale or even after some advice please use them - you won’t regret it!
