The communication was great all the way through and the whole team worked hard to ensure that buyers and we as sellers had all the information we needed. The whole process was much smoother than we feared, as the team went above and beyond to keep everyone to the required timescales. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Youngs again.
21st Aug 2026 (28 days ago)If possible, I would not even award them 1 star. Absolutely horrendous service when requesting information or updates about the sale of our late parents home. Numerous failed call returns, no response to emails, rude comments towards my grieving sister when they thought the phone call had ended, obnoxious attitude to our solicitor in the last days of the process when requesting costings for their "services". It is troubling to have to pay them a lot of money for very little in return!

4th Sep 2026 (14 days ago)Kate, Branch Manager is amazing. The whole team is so helpful.<br>Kate has not only sold my property and given me so much advice in order to get the best price. She also advised and sold my Mams property. Both properties she had sold within the week. She also took care of my daughter and helped her get on the property ladder to buy her first home. She has went above and beyond. Her friendly down to earth nature alongside her knowledge of the area and sector is outstanding. It’s very rare these days you get the professional high standards and genuine passion for the job in a whole team. I would 100% recommend Kate and her team and wouldn’t go anywhere else if I was to sell or buy again! Special mention also to Demi who stayed late on night to update me when I was stressing. They take the stress out of moving away! ??

18th May 2023 (3 years ago)Huge thank you to Jeanette snd Mary who helped with the purchase of our new home. It was quite stressful for us at times and we had a few (a lot!) bumps in the road. We were very dependent on the team especially towards the end of the buying process for many reasons. I truly believe without their help on an almost daily basis we would still be waiting for the sale to have been finalised. We are now 4 weeks in our new home and are so happy. The stress long forgotten. The team are Very professional, very “on it” and also want to do the best for the buyer. Thank you all.

It was useful to be able to pop into the shop locally , as by phone there were often other people from other branches answering! The team were compassionate and supportive in complex circumstances and patient when it all took a long time from initial enquiry to completion.

From the magnificent photos, to the marketing of our house, including the ups and downs of buyers pulling out and the house having to be re-marketed and the courteous professionalism of how Steven, Sian and the staff dealt with it all we can't praise them highly enough! Would definitely use them again! ??????

We live in York, so selling my uncle's house in Newcastle could have been a nightmare but the staff at Hive made it a breeze. They kept us informed every step of the way, set up a WhatsApp chat group so that we were all on the same page, they were simply fab and we can't thank you all enough.
