17th Mar 2025 (4 weeks ago)I would like to say a big thank you to Kenneth Siddall for all the time that he took with me in informing me in detail by facts and figures as to the selling of my home. He answered all the questions that were put to him with great expertise and nothing was too much trouble for him. I felt that he really went out of his way in showing me what the market looked like. I would recommend Ken with great pleasure to anyone who was thinking of selling their home. He certainly made the right decision as regards to the sale of my house and I was so very very pleased that what he thought the price of the house could be and I was very fortunate that this came to fruition. Once again Ken, thanks very much for all the time that you took with me.

8th Dec 2024 (19 weeks ago)We had a mixed experience with Preston Baker. We chose them for their reviews online and at first contact with the Doncaster office they were quick to reply and tried moving our sale along promptly. Then our agent suddenly stopped communicating and when we tried contacting them we found out she had left but no one informed us. This happened a couple of times. Our house was eventually assigned to Terry Burrows (Leeds office) and she was good to us. She took care of our sale for almost a year until the end, even after two potential buyers dropped off and issues with the house made our sale more complicated. Sadly by then the market had changed and we weren’t able to sell for the value we had hoped for. Not sure if I would recommend the Doncaster office. I would recommend Terry for sure. (Terry, if you are reading this thank you for persevering with us and for helping us get a decent price in a difficult selling process)

I highly recommend Northwood, nothing is too much trouble. Big shout out for Logan who has worked tremendously hard from the get go. Thank you to all the team you are all amazing

My agent Ben really went above and beyond for what turned out to be a difficult conveyancing experience but we got there in the end! I would definitely recommend Nested for a bespoke service you don’t get elsewhere.
3rd Jan 2022 (3 years ago)I have only very good things to say about this lovely company. If you are looking for a property to rent then I highly recommend Smith & Co. There's a lot of bad landlords out there but in my experience of renting a property from Smith & Co for many, many years now, I can truly say that you wouldn't go far wrong to rent from this caring, compassionate, understanding, professional and considerate company! I have had many wonderful, trouble free years' renting from Smith & Co. To be honest, I really wouldn't want to rent from anyone else now. Sara and her team are all so lovely! After many years I feel like I'm part of one big Smith & Co family! Top notch!

31st Jul 2024 (8 mo. ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
17th Jan 2025 (13 weeks ago)Unfortunately Valued our property at too high(40K more than others) a price and then every week wanted to keep dropping the price by 10k. Never heard anything from them had 2 viewings in 6 moths. We swapped estate agents and had 6 viewings in 2 days and sold witching 3 weeks.
