They truly listened to what I was looking for and took the time to understand my needs, rather than just showing me generic listings that weren’t relevant to my requirements. They were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, always available to answer my questions and explain things clearly. What really stood out was how they consistently went the extra mile — whether it was arranging viewings around my schedule, keeping me updated at every stage, or even helping to sort out little details that made the move smoother including recommending a removal company. Their professionalism, genuine care, and commitment made what could have been a stressful process feel exciting and enjoyable. 20th Oct 2025 (8 weeks ago)When I enquired about a property’s asking price and the seller’s position, I was met with terse, dismissive replies from the female agent I spoke to on the phone - a remarkably unhelpful attitude towards a serious buyer. I decided to proceed with the viewing regardless, but communication remained poor throughout. Afterwards, I submitted a formal offer, which was completely ignored. I never received any confirmation or follow-up, and it appeared my offer may not even have been passed to the vendors - which, if true, would be a breach of legal duty. The overall experience suggested a lack of basic organisation, professionalism, and integrity. For sellers, that should be alarming; for buyers, it’s simply exasperating. I would strongly advise caution when dealing with this agency.
20th Oct 2025 (8 weeks ago)Used Ashtons as was a prospective buyer of a property they marketed. Not so many issues with the office but the sales progression team were always quite slow to respond and could never get through to the assigned person to my case. Additionally used ashtons to sell my property and I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience. The problems began immediately. The agency provided an initial valuation to secure our business in July, only to suggest a £25,000 price reduction after just one week, admitting there was no interest. Despite agreeing to the reduction, it did not correlate to an increase in activity which would lead to questions around marketing and resource as Ashtons list a lot of properties. By September, they had only managed to secure two viewings. We received absolutely no feedback from either of these viewings, despite requesting it, leaving us completely in the dark. Lastly thier fees are quite opaque and if youre new to selling read through everything very carefully. In the non flex fees there are baked in withdrawal fees that ensure ashtons get paid regardless if they sell or not. Which gives them little incentive to really push your property in my opinion. The alternative is you pay money up front to them to sell your property which is preposterous. Fundamentally all the agents use rightmove to market your property and that's where most people go to find houses. In summary: an inaccurate valuation, negligible effort, a complete lack of communication, and a devious fee structure designed to charge you even when they fail to perform.
26th May 2022 (3 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

4th Sep 2025 (14 weeks ago)I know that Aqeel kindly showed me the property and tried to help me with the contract. However, I would like to leave a review about the agency itself. They asked me to pay a deposit in order to run a reference check, but a few days later I was declined. It has now been three weeks and I still haven’t received my money back. The agency keeps saying they have contacted their accounting team and that the refund will be made soon, but I am considering whether I need to take legal action. I don’t understand why it takes so long to return a deposit after a rejection, and I believe this is a process the agency must fix. On top of that, because Aqeel told me the landlord would likely approve, I did not make an offer elsewhere and ended up losing that opportunity as well. Please don’t make the same mistake I did,do not pay a deposit right away. First confirm that the landlord has accepted the conditions before making any payment.
