22nd Jul 2024 (5 days ago)I have been with jewel homes for over ten years they looked after letting my property whilst I was living in Malaysia and keep a close eye on things for me and always kept me up to date with everything going on. my house was continious let the full time I was away, due to the excellant service i had received when it came to selling my house I did not hesitate to use then for and as expected everything went smoothly and they also recommended me to a lawyer which was a bonus as I am still living in Malaysia.

We really appreciate all that he did and the advice he gave. We would highly recommend him and Westgate Estate Agents for selling a house.

21st May 2024 (10 weeks ago)Viewing a property the person showing us round, didn’t really do anything apart from open the door. Didn’t have any info on basic things, but was nice enough. Staff at the office were nice but a bit of a lag getting details.
3rd Jun 2024 (8 weeks ago)Disappointing Experience of simply trying to get a home report (and possibly set up a viewing for a property if home report was to my liking) via both Rightmove/their own website/calling them about a place I was interested in for a fortnight and no reply Only time I got any expedited reply was when on one of the several requests i ticked the "yes I have a property to be valued option" and got prompt enough reply in regards to that, but as soon as I requested the home report again from that person as i would need somewhere to move to first, back to radio silence, finally get to speak to someone else today and no luck due to the property has an offer pretty much accepted, would have been nice to have that option myself

13th Jul 2024 (14 days ago)Hi, After reviewing the estate agents in the area I selected igloo as it had the biggest turnover of properties marketed and the price was lowest in the area. Overall I think I can summaries by saying, “ You get what you pay for”. The lower outlay against some of the aspects of selling my house does match up. Positives :- House sold for market valuation. Which was probably the most important thing in the end after a very long time on market. Negatives :- The surveyor recommended and used in my opinion constructed a survey which really didn’t support the sale of my home. Which led to the very long and drawn out sale. The house I feel could have been marketed stronger. Did not get the feeling of any drive to sell it. It felt like sit back and wait for phone to ring. Closed at weekends meant after any viewings at the weekend I had to wait for any feedback. Plus think it led to people loosing interest. Feedback was not very forthcoming. Most occasions I had to call for an update after viewing. Sometimes felt like I was annoying people when I called to find out what was happening. Advised to get a refresh on home report with I did not do as my lawyer advised it was not required. House sale completed without this. Could have been an unnecessary expense. So glad I want with my own lawyer and not one they advised. So overall got the sale after a long wait for market value which was most important but I do think the sales experience could have been better if some of my negative points were removed or improved.

12th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)I’ve been with Northwood for a year and a half now and i’ve had numerous issues with pipes / leaks in my flat. They always get back to me on the same day, usually within the hour and have a contractor out usually within 2. They’ve even been able to get people out to us for emergencies on weekends. Best letting agents i’ve been with in glasgow, absolutely 10/10
30th May 2024 (8 weeks ago)The team at Hames Estates is very professional, and also very approachable. They take a personal interest to ensure they deliver an excellent service. Any questions are answered quickly and you never feel that you are a bother. We dealt mainly with Joe and Ellie, when selling our house and the whole process was painless. First meeting was with Joe McKenzie who is straightforward and honest. He takes the time to go through the process with you, including the very reasonable fees. Viewings are notified via text and email so easy to know who was coming and when. We were kept informed throughout and received regular feedback regarding viewings - the latter mainly by Ellie who is very friendly and helpful! Our house sold very quickly, and we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Hames Estates to others. Thank you!!
16th Jul 2024 (11 days ago)We called Walker Wylie a year before we were able to sell our property to ask for advice on pre-selling issues. Barry was so friendly, helpful and gave excellent advice. So much so, we decided to ask Walker Wylie to market our property when the time was right. Barry and his team did not disappoint. As well as getting the property on the market quickly whilst efficiently attending to the administrative and legal matters, Barry arranged for contractual work to be done on the property during the selling process on our behalf. This was essential as we were not local. Throughout the process, we knew we were in very safe hands. The property sold quickly after a few viewings and we are absolutely delighted with the outcome. I would definitely recommend Walker Wylie.

They also acted as agents to sell the property which they completed quickly. I definitely give them all five stars and highly recommend them.

They were incredibly helpful to me while I was managing the will and estate of an elderly relative who was suffering from senility and later passed away. Joyce was empathetic, understanding, and diligent throughout the entire process. Joyce's professionalism made a complex situation easy to understand and manage. She went above and beyond to ensure I understood every requirement, and her thorough and reliable approach ensured all key tasks were completed efficiently. She helped us manage Power of Attorney from Scotland with banks in Ireland, which could have been very challenging, but Joyce's professionalism helped me manage this seamlessly. Additionally, she handled paying suppliers, managing bank accounts across Ireland and Scotland, and comprehensive legal documents. If you need a solicitor who is compassionate, thorough, and highly competent, look no further than Joyce and Dallas McMillan. They truly exceeded my expectations and provided exceptional service during a challenging time.

From start to finish, they kept me updated, and informed me of what I needed to do at every stage. I liked the fact that I did not need to spend a thing until the whole transaction had been completed. I would use Neilsons again and recommend them to everyone who is selling or buying a house.

They kept in regular touch with us re the progress of our sale and offers. Overall an amazing home move experience and I would recommend Momo without any reservations. A five star overall experience!

From Paul coming out to initially value my property until the day I handed over my keys to move into my new dream home the support has been first class. Excellent communication. Shona or one of her team always got back to me with any queries I had or advice needed. Totally recommend. I would not use any other Estate Agent.
5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
