8th Aug 2026 (5 days ago)We instructed MOV8 to sell our one-bedroom flat in Edinburgh. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing and we ultimately decided to terminate the agreement and move to another estate agent. During the period the property was marketed, we had a number of viewings but also several cancellations, and we did not feel that the sale was progressing as we had hoped. We would have liked more proactive advice and communication about what could be changed to improve the chances of achieving a sale. What was particularly disappointing was the cost of ending the agreement. We had to settle a substantial outstanding amount before moving to another agent, despite the property remaining unsold. There were individual members of staff who were pleasant and helpful, so this is not a criticism of everyone we dealt with. However, looking at the overall service and outcome, we were not satisfied and decided that changing agent was the best option for us.

We have worked with Jason a few times over the years and most recently he sold our family home as well as an investment property on our behalf.<br>From a sellers point of view, Jason goes above and beyond to maximise your sale. He’s an expert in his field and is highly knowledgeable on current market conditions, he was able to advise us throughout the entire process. We gained an impressive 15% above home report and I believe this was down to Hadons knowledge and amazing negotiation skills.<br>The office staff at Harbor are incredible and work hard to market your property, follow on leads and are very professional with potential buyers. Everything ran like clockwork.<br>The media team were amazing and provided incredible marketing material, again they went above and beyond. They visited my property twice, daytime and at night to capture contrasting shots.<br><br>Selling houses is stressful but this team take the stress away, keep you informed and work hard to sell your property. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

From the start when I was hunting for properties, all the way to sealing the deal with the Solicitors - Joe at Allen and Harris Shawlands was brilliant. Personable, Knowledgeable and invested in getting me the property I wanted. Later days, Scott (I'm assuming the spelling) was on point, great communication and made the final steps as easy as can be.<br><br>Sincerely, thank you to the team at Shawlands.

She is a huge asset and will be greatly missed, but definitely Hamiltons gain. She has a very fair but no nonsense approach to ensure the tenants are looking after the properties well, whenever any small issues start to rise, she quickly nips them in the bud. Any maintenance issues are quickly sorted with quality trades and She is a very strong communicator, keeping us informed throughout. We wish her luck in her new role at Hamilton.

A very friendly and approachable person. I hope his work ethic and client centred approach is appreciated internally as it is externally.<br><br>I had a horrible experience with another estate agent and spoke to Allan for some advice, and even though I ended up changing my mind about selling, Allan was more than happy to help me with any questions I had. I truly felt supported and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Allan to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

Claire whom I dealt with has been absolutely amazing and so professional from day one replying back early morning and calling on her days off Coda are lucky to have such a good and professional worker she is a credit to Coda and the reason I went with coda. Anyone looking sell definitely ask for Claire. Thanks ??????

Selling a home can be a stressful experience, but thanks to their professionalism, expertise and genuine care, the entire process has felt smooth, reassuring and incredibly well managed.<br><br>Their communication has been second to none. 17th Jul 2026 (27 days ago)Please stay clear of this company. They are highly unprofessional and have no desire to stand by their own terms and work in a smooth and timely manner. They do not stay updated on any progress when working through a purchase of a property and do not act as if they want to get to completion within their own 60-day terms. I had two occasions on the same property when a mortgage valuation was booked in, and the Jack Senior at Let Property assured me the first would be completed. Once no one turned up at the property to allow access for the valuation, it had to be rebooked, and when I spoke to Jack again he assured me 100% someone would be there. But again, when the valuer arrived at the property no one was there to allow access. Also during the process it would take days, sometimes a week, to get a simple bit of info or just a return call from Jack or anyone at Let Property. They set 60-day completion terms, which I was happy to work to and moved fast on my side, but when they constantly delayed things, it got to the point nothing was moving foward. On top of this, they take a reservation deposit and will not refund it has we are past the 60-day terms even with the delays being their own fault. I would highly recommend staying clear and using any other company. I have found Pure Investor to be very professional, helpful and hardworking to make sure both the seller and buyer are happy and continue to get things moving forward.

Their service has been exceptional, definitely exceeded our expectations. As international students studying in Glasgow, it always feels good to know that we’re in safe hands.
