The tenancy is fully managed by Alan Cooke, so they have seen to initial meter readings, gas and other safety checks, minor problems reported by the tenants and the various legal requirements. This has all made the running of this property very easy for me. Highly recommended.

Our year of renting through Cornerstone has been remarkably smooth, characterized by quick - if not same-day - repairs and maintenance. It's been an entirely hassle-free experience.

3rd Apr 2024 (25 days ago)Had a really disappointing experience today with William H Brown in Headingley. Yesterday, my partner and I rang about a flat that we both absolutely loved the look of , situated in the city centre. The lady that we spoke to yesterday was friendly and helpful and booked us in to view the flat this afternoon at 14:40. She emphasised that this would be provisionally booked as they had not been able to get in touch with the current tenants; which we completely understood. It reached dinner time today and we had not had any form of communication from William H Brown so presumed that our viewing was still to go ahead. My partner rang and a different lady from the one we spoke to yesterday answered. She said that they had not been able to get in touch with the current tenants again; which again we completely understand that this is out of the control of William H Brown. However, the lady proceeded to say that if we did not hear from William H Brown later in the day to presume that the viewing would not be going ahead. The problem we have with this is that firstly a call from William H Brown would have been appreciated to let us know that they were unsure whether the viewing would go ahead earlier in the day as if we would not have called William H Brown ourselves we would have gone to the viewing assuming it was still going ahead. There was no appreciation of William H Brown of how long it would take us to get to the flat we were going to view from our current address; the assumption was just that we lived not far from the city centre. Basically, we have just been sat in limbo waiting to see whether our viewing was still going to go ahead. Luckily, we are both teachers and it is half term otherwise we would not have had the luxury to sit waiting around all day!! Finally, a call to say that they would arrange another viewing would have been appreciated. This has left us feeling not valued and not wanting to view any further flats with William H Brown. Very poor communication and frankly a waste of our time!

3rd Oct 2019 (4 years ago)Really quick to come out and view my property. Gave me great advice about how to price, clear on fees and managed to get viewings and offers very quickly. Some communication issues at the start as the specific agent was on holiday and had to speak to whomever was available led to a slight delay in accepting an offer. But nevertheless still very good and would recommend.
14th Aug 2023 (8 mo. ago)The person who valued our house and did the sales pitch to us was great, but the person who actually dealt with our sale was terrible. She added no value to the whole process, never answered the phone or called us back, sent really unhelpful emails with no clear actions or asks in there and provided no effort to mediate our chain and keep all parties happy. It felt like she ended up working for our buyer rather than us who were her clients. She also seemed to shy away from difficult news and did everything over email rather than calling and helping to get people on side. I would not recommend. Our friends had a similar experience so this is not an isolated incident.
10th Apr 2024 (18 days ago)I bought a flat sold/managed by Martin and Co. Dale Hesketh answered a lot of questions for me and kept me up to date. Katerina was the original agent, but left the company half way thru my purchase, she too was efficient. The only hiccup was their phone answering service, who didn’t seem to pass on my calls.

19th Apr 2024 (9 days ago)Contractors review. 5 start service from start to finish. Always getting jobs booked in as soon as tenants report them. Chris always get back to you when he says he will and payments are always made on time. All office staff are very friendly. Great company to work along side.
22nd Apr 2024 (6 days ago)Sion was super helpful, kind, answered all my questions :)- 15th Jul 2023 (9 mo. ago)Between initial marketing and proceedable offer, the housing market experienced a turbulent time, due mainly to several B of E base rate interest rises and mortgage rate rises by lenders. This led to adjustments in the market taking place. Knowing how best to respond to changing market condition was a concern. Hunters were amazing in relation to professionally assessing the changing state of the market and gave sound advice and support in relation to strategy. The local Hunters team at Horsforth were always available to respond to my queries and were first class when communicating what was happening with viewings and associated feedback, especially in the latter stages of securing a proceedable offer. Having now sold two houses (12 years apart) with Hunters, I have no qualms in confidently recommending them as an excellent estate agent.

2nd Aug 2022 (1 year ago)It was really easy to arrange a property viewing with Valor Properties. Toni was super helpful and gave us a courtesy call on the morning of the viewing. She arrived early and went above and beyond showing us around, giving us information and allowing us enough time to get a good feel for the properties we were interested in. No hard sell just really genuine and helpful. Looking forward to dealing with Valor again in the future ????

As you can see they have property in this business park to let. And thanks to my photos you can see it's not a stone wall and ???? next to a road ????

Received an appointment to view a flat very quickly and had confirmation that we were successful in securing the flat the next morning. Very efficient, excellent service, extremely friendly and helpful!
